Great scanner if you have the time. It scans crystal clear and has great features to repair and/or edit the scans. Its just a time consuming process.

This is a great little scanner. It works fast and is easy to setup. I use it primarily for scanning documents for my business. I haven't scanned any photos yet. I like that it's powered from the usb jack so you don't have screw around with a wall wart power supply. It's great little scanner at a great price!

The quality is really good for this price range, in fact comparable to much higher price ranges. Only issue might be that it is a bit slower and the lid is flimsy to use. Can't be beat for the price though.

This is a great scanner. We have been scanning hundreds of recipes to our computer but then, there was a software update and suddenly the scanner quit working. Contacted Epson, they sent new machine but again did updates and did not work. Finally determined the software update was corrupt and the scanner was fine.

I needed to replace an old scanner that wasn't compatible with Windows 8, and Best Buy had this one at a deep discount. It works great!

I was very pleased with the image qualities, just wish the process was a bit quicker as my project had over 500 separate scans.

Got this to scan pictures for a memorial and it was So easy to use. Will now use it to scan pictures for relatives across the country.

Scanner is great. Using it for a couple of online math classes that needed work to be scanned in. Quick, easy and fast.

So far it’s been great. Seems like a solid choice for the price. My only complaint is about the software it comes with. It works and gets the job done, but it feels like it hasn’t been updated since 1999.

Plus, you could scan different things closer to your computer with out keep walk back & front to the printer to scanner things.

The Epson Perfection V39 flatbed scanner is very light weight, readily portable, flexible in handling copying in awkward enironments (such as copying with the scanner placed downward over an object. I have found it a real workhorse.

The scanner is basically good but dose give me fits sometimes. Sometimes it becomes necessary to to shut down and start all over.

I needed a scanner to scan non digital prints. I was looking for something of decent quality but didn't want to spend that much. I found it! Very happy with purchase.

My new Win10 computer would not support my older Epson scanner, so I purchased this one to replace it. It does well and faster the things it will do. It will not support the third-party software that I used to use (under WinXP), such as for character recognition. However, alternative software is available for free download from Epson. Note that it does not have a light source in its cover, so it can not scan 35mm slides or photographic negatives.
