The scanner is pretty basic but for documents really fits the bill. Fairly light weight but has worked well as long as we have had it.

This is a great scanner that can be used for many different types of documents. It has a thin profile, is sleek and appears to be high quality. I had no problems scanning dozens of documents and sending them to my PC for email.

My mom wanted this for scanning family photos and it does a pretty solid job. It also has software that makes it easy for less computer savvy people to operate a scanner. We are using it on a Mac, though I'm sure it works even better for PC. It's really fast and fairly silent (at least relative to the last scanner I owned). We did end up getting a replacement because the one we picked up from the store had broken glass, but BestBuy had a replacement shipped to our house in a couple days.

Eady to set up and use. Using mostly for PDF scans/creation. The "Stitch" works like magic!!

I'm using this scanner to scan in old photos. Does a pretty good job. The colors are accurate and not washed out. Does the job.

Not the fastest scanner you can fine but what do you expect for $100? Creates quality scans.

Old technology....I returned it because it wasnt suitable to my needs.

This scanner works well. If you are looking to transfer your old photos to digital, this will do if for a cheap price. On the downside, I wish there was a way to do it quicker.

We bought to scan some photos in for a funeral. It was simple to use and fairly fast in terms of scan times. Quality of the photo scans was very good.

It's not the scanner itself that rates a mere two stars, although it seriously could use an on/off switch, it's the scanning software that accompanies it prompts me to rate it so low. After scanning two to three pages, Epson Scan will either freeze or pop up a message box claiming that it cannot communicate with the scanner. You then need to close and relaunch the software to continue. I read a post by someone who contacted Epson support in Europe about this very problem and was told that the problem would be escalated but, for now, they should run the software in compatibility mode in Windows 10. That does get you an extra two or three scans before it freezes, but what's distressing is that the bug report was made in 2018. Buried in C:\Program Files (x86)\EPSON\Epson Scan 2\Core\es2launcher.exe is an alternative called Epson Scan 2 which, regrettably, also needs to be run in compatibility mode, but will give you a couple of extra scans over the regular Epson scan before it to decides to take a nap. One must be grateful for small blessings.

Exactly a little over two years with minimal usage, and it no longer turns on. The software is mediocre at best. Was ok while it worked. Going to have to look for something else.

I really love this scanner. It has great image capture and is very lightweight. I keep it stored in its box, but it can easily rest on a small table or on a shelf in a computer desk.

Needed a quality scanner for saving old pictures and documents. Worked as intended and with easy instructions.

I wanted a scanner that would be easy to use and would quickly help me digitize mounds of paperwork. It has been good at doing photographs as well.

This scanner can scan good copies of photos easily. It is not very fast but for a little more time the quality is better.
