Installed the software on two separate computers, swapped the cables out, uninstalled and reinstalled software and the cables, it will not turn on and is completely dead. Literally came out of the box less than 3 hours ago.

Even when I deactivated a HP network scanner, the same problem led me to return both scanners to the store. All those DPIs were impressive, and the software was full featured, but Windows 10 was not compatible.

The error message said the app could not connect to the scanner. The scanner would not turn on. Sometimes the scanned image is crooked, even though the item is straight on the scanner. Happens a lot.

I have scanned over 3,000 pictures. It does give me a little trouble now and then connecting to my laptop but other than that it’s perfect.
