    After reading manufacturer's specifications I thought this scanner would do the job in 10 to 15 seconds. It realistically took 90 seconds per scan, very slow. I did windup returning the product.

    BEWARE! Missing software!

    This scanner claims to come bundled with Scan n Stitch software. It doesn't. It comes with a link to drivers and some of the bundled software, but not Scan n Stitch. I called Epson, and they sent me the disk that was supposed to be in the box, but the version of Scan n Stitch they include is an evaluation version. If you try to activate it, either nothing happens or you get a "page missing" error from ArcSoft's website. I contacted ArcSoft, and they told me that this is because Scan n Stitch is no longer sold or supported. Very disappointing, since I bought this scanner specifically because it supposedly had the Scan n Stitch software.

    Purchased to replace aging Epson Scanner. The connecting USB cord is too short and the scanner won't allow me to customize my print settings, even on "Professional", which my old scanner allowed. (I use it mainly for PDFs.) It was relatively inexpensive but is a disappointment.

    My scanner broke before I was able to use it. The glass was shattered into a million pieces not even sure how it happened since it was just sitting in my office.

    Worked one day, 12 scans. Next time, it wouldn't even power up. Uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled... still nothing! It's going back tomorrow! At least, I was able to get the project that I specifically bought this for done. That's about it.

    I bought this to take on a trip to visit family. I wanted to be able to scan old family photos to my laptop but I was never able to make it work. I followed all the directions but it would never power on. Don't waste your money on this. It's worthless and I intend to return it.

    This was a great scanner for documents and artwork until it broke two months after purchase. It was used to scan a page or two per week before the scan head started to malfunction rendering the product useless. Buying this is a roll of the dice.

    Great Scanner!

    Ordered this scanner online and it only took 3 days to arrive with no issues. Easy to install and set up. I use it for scanning family photo albums and paperwork and it works great for that. Plenty of settings to adjust photo deterioration issues, but I use another software for that. It takes up very little desk footprint, no bigger than my laptop so if I want to transport it that will not be an issue. I have read some comments about the noise level, but I have not found that to be an issue at all. It's a Lot quieter than the HP all-in-one I was using and much speedier too. I thought the photo separation would make the operation tedious, however I have come to like it after a few scans of getting used to it. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of the border not scanning so you have to be very careful if your photos or docs go all the way to the edge. I expected this after reading reviews before ordering it so I have just worked around it. All in all a great product and would recommend it to others in the digital scrapbooking sphere.

    Could not get device to upload on either desktop or laptop PC’s despite spending a couple hours online with Epson support center. Finally they referred me to Microsoft for Windows 10 support help. Gave up, and returned to BBY for credit.

    The software comes on a cd- most laptops dont use CDS anymore. Had to search and download various parts of the software. Took longer to get the software than to scan 100s of pictures.
