Bad scanner

Spent 1 whole week trying to get it to connect to surface pro 4. Researched on line that latest Win 10 update made scanner unusable. Took back to Best Buy, even Geek squad couldn't get it to connect. Got money back.

Great but disappointing

It lasted two weeks and completely died. I could not get it to do anything. Had to take it back to the store.while it worked, it was awesome, but once it crapped out, that was it.

Doesn’t even turn on

Bought this today and tried plugging it into my laptop, my desktop, even straight into the outlet. Nothing. Won’t turn on. Tons of reviews here say the same. My mistake for thinking that when I spend money on a product, it should work. Avoid this piece of trash.

Failed first day of use

Cannot scan document with multiple pages

The Geek Squad came here to set it up. The scanner does not have a power button to turn it back on. You have to pull out the power cord and then plug it back in. Next , if the document has more than one page, you can not scan multiple pages.

Cheaply made

Very good portable scanner.

This fit the bill perfectly and has met my expectations. It fits neatly into the same carrying case as my laptop. I also like the fact that it's powered by USB connection, so no power adapter plug is required.

Gets an "A+"In My Book.

My parent's had about 20 photo albums; each one holding anywhere from 200-500 photos in each. I bought this scanner because it was in my price range, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending off personal photos and paying someone else to scan them. I feel that if I can do it, I don't need to pay anyone else to. I could scan four 4x6 photos or smaller at a time. Each scan (which four photos on the glass), takes about 2 minutes if you scan the photos in 400 dpi. In the end, I ended up scanning about 4,000 photos. It took a little under two months because I would only scan on my off days. If you take your time and do it right, it comes out perfect. The software is really easy to use as well. My only complaint, is that I hate the fact that you have to scan an Overview first, and then scan each photo again. I wish you could plop four photos down and only scan once. But since each photo is different, and also different sizes, it's best to just deal with it. I wish it was FASTER!

Slow but Excellent

However, it is VERY easy to use. If you're bad at electronic stuff, this is the right device for you. It's easy to attach and the quality of the scans is excellent. And it's super light.
