Great product. Good price. It was a little difficult to set up, and to get cooperating with my computer, but now that I am through that, it works very well.

Like that it doesn't have a power cord, just a usb into your computer. Scans old photots well and converts them to small files for easy emailing to family.

I love this scanner, I was considering getting a multi printer with scanning function but really only needed a scanner and would rather have a higher quality scanner only device for the money. This was the best choice, comes with easy to use EPSON Scan software to convert your photos and text documents to high quality PDF's and JPEGS. There is even a button on the device that will automatically scan to PDF without having to open the software. The device also only uses one USB cable to both power/transfer scans so no need for a separate power cable. Very happy with this purchase.

Got the scannner in hopes of converting old photos to digital. Great quality. Easy to use. Great options at an affordable price.

I bought this to replace an old HP model for personal use, light duty. The HP could not scan to a .pdf file. This was annoying as I would always have to convert it from a .jpg file. The Epson is also faster. The only complaint is that they changed their software and no longer have the popup window that allows you to name your file before saving it. My scanner at work would do this. I called Epson to inquire if a more advanced model (V550) offered this feature but was told it was dropped.

I held off getting a scanner for a while. After buying and using this scanner, I have to wonder why. The scans are amazing and take very little time to make. I do wish there were more resolution options but that's a issue I can work with. Glad I purchased!!!

It’s a nice little scanner and it does very nice work. I got this one to replace a Canon LIDE scanner that I had for more than a few years. Love that it only requires a USB cable for power and communication with the computer. This would have been a five star review if Epson’s software worked with Windows 10. I had to use Microsoft’s built in software to scan images, PDFs, etc.

This little machine is terrific. It takes up no more space than my laptop and it is not loud. Once I figured out what settings to use for my different scan types, I am highly satisfied. I use it flat mostly, but I tried it a few times using the built in stand and that worked fine, also. The first scan I did was of a little league photo of my son that was taken in a low light situation (at dusk, on the baseball field), the software literally lightened or brightened the photo and the scanned version is better than the original.

Epson Perfection V39 is a good scanner at a decent price. Scan speed is good and has a small footprint and is also windows 10 compatible.

Works great right out of the box after installation, scans clear and precise. Small and thin, good for travel and can use on it's side.

Couldn't ask for a better machine... I didn't think that it was going to be this fantastic. For the price and for the size. It really can't be beat. It just have the best resolution, the only thing that it's missing from it's $300 counterpart is the ability to do slides. I don't do slides so it doesn't effect me at all. Once you see that first scan. You'll be glad you got it.

This was purchased to replace an older Epson scanner that suffered an accidental death. This just feels like less. It is lighter and feels more plastic and somehow cheaper. Saying that, it scans quickly and well, was easy to set up, and no longer needs a power supply (power via USB). I would probably buy again.
