The Epson installer cannot find the scanner, even though it appears in Device Manager. Bought this because we are in a pinch and need to scan docs quickly. Now we are in an even worse situation after wasting time on this piece of poop. And the GLOBAL Epson corporation does not have a 24/7 help line; we can get help during normal business hours tomorrow. Thanks Epson, NOT

Excellent for the price, but not surprisingly it is fairly slow. Some color photos don't seem quite as warm as in the originals, but they're very close. Still, it's a good scanner.
