I'm very happy with this scanner, it does an amazing job of scanning negatives, slides, and photos. I would recommend this scanner. There was little difficulty with the scanner once it was set it up.

My second Epson photo scanner - for a secondary location this time. Does a really good job on slides, negatives and prints, including 6x6 and 6x7 films. Couldn't pass up the price for this one at the time.

Not the fastest scanner but it performs very good. The scans are clear and bright. I have had the scanner for about a month now and have scanned in a lot of photos. Every one has been very good.

Great scanner, love the way it scans multiple images on the platen as individual images/files. Makes scanning multiple photos much faster. Recommend this scanner!

Easy to set up and install. Worked with my old scanning software for basic scanning. Used the scanner's software for more completed items, like slides. I am pleased with this purchase.

I bought this scanner thinking that it was a lot bigger. The box was terribly misleading. Maybe I misunderstood when it read "scan sharp images up to 17"x22" but it barely holds 9"x11." I was so upset when I got home I almost just returned it. I'm mad about it just now thinking about it - and I bought it like a month ago. But I'm a professional artist and this scanner does the job. The image quality is great. It scans quickly. Good color. I genuinely like it. Epson is a good brand, and this is a good scanner. Also the guy who sold it to me was very nice, polite, and helpful.

Love being able to scan old pictures to digital versions. Instructions easy to follow. Can scan multiple pictures at once.

This product works very well. The instructions are non-existant however youtube had great tutorials on how to use it. Once I knew how to use it , it did a fantastic job.

I replaced a older cannon after reading all review from the cannon and the epson v550 the epson has better resolution and better software for mac. After performing all updates the scanner works flawlessly.

So far it is excellent. I have 1000's of 35mm negatives and I needed another way to archive them. At this point I have scanned about 200 and excellent results. Very good purchase

Have scanned and stored hundreds of old photos to dvd disks. Many pictures had faded with time but this little gem helps to restore them to where they look good..

If you have hundres or even thousands of photos you want to digitise you can't beat the V550. Easy use to and provides an outstanding result.

My previous experience with scanners has never lived up to the selling point of easy setup & use; this Epson scanner does! Solid construction & quality product.

I bought this to scan and store hundreds of slides taken by my dad as we were growing up. The unit has started getting a bit "reluctant" to scan, but I can usually troubleshoot and get it working. I hope I can complete my project. I've made a dent.

Easy and quick Scanner can save files in multiple formats including PDF, jpeg, and document formats. Works reasonably fast. I use it often and to date there have been no issues. Fair price.

Looking for separate scanner for personal home project. Has all the features I was looking for - able to scan photos, negatives, and slides. Very easy operation.

It is a good scanner but the size is little too bulky on desk. It uses too much space for home user but other than that there is no complain whatsoever.

Not a bad machine, but very bulky for a scanner. You would think by now scanners would be much thinner, less bulky and have WIFI connection.

I am just learning to use it to copy all the family photos.

This photo scanner faithfully reproduces my pictures. I've tried scanning negatives, yet. The pictures I've scanned have looked great.
