Very happy with image quality. Does take time - 4 slides at a time - but worth it

If you have a lot of pictures and negatives you want to get into your computer this is the way to go.

I have purchased more than 5 different scanners over the last 15 years. Most would not scan film strips and color slides. This scanner does a bang up job with both and quickly converts to a standard reflective scanner for pictures and documents. The scanner has a wide range of precision scan settings for pixel settings. The included software is easy to use and works well. I use Windows 10 with all of the latest updates.

Works exactly like I was hoping so I can get my slides onto to my PC and finally to DVD or CD.

We have just started using the scanner and so far we like it. We have been scanning negatives so far and have yet to scan printed photos. The only issue we had was when scanning a strip of negatives that has both color and black/white pictures it seems to confuse the scanner and they come out strange. We just scanned them separately and they turned out great.

This scanner was easy to install and use. It was perfect for scanning old family pictures.

Proper scanner was needed for picture archival. Looked at some other models but this one was good value for what was in market. Was available at local store so I could get to work right away. Set up was easy & have had no issues since purchase. Bonus was it was on sale & got an additional discount for damaged & open box. Nothing missing or damage to equipment.

I am using this device to transfer pictures I have on film to my computer. My only caution is that this procedure is slow and takes a lot of personal attention to do it well. However, the Epson photo scanner performs it function excellently. It is very flexible and can copy different formats of film and actual photos. If you want to copy old photos or film to you computer, this is a good tool for that purpose.

Still trying to get used to this. Seems to scan pictures well, but many more options than anticipated.

If you are patient and persistent, and you want to archive your old pictures, slides, and negatives, this is the tool you want. It takes high-quality scans and comes with great software. Your scan will have the color depth and clarity of the original image, and the software can restore old, faded, scratched pictures to life. For sure it isn't fast, but the results are worth it.
