Great Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner is doing an awesome job with our scanning. We have over 10,000 photographs from old albums and the scans are great. With a small space between photos, you can get several small pictures at a time or even 2 - 5x7 pics. The image quality is very good even with the small, postage sized black and white photos.

High quality--great value!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great machine! I read all the reviews and chose it carefully. I made the right choice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is the software that drives it---hasn't been updated since my last scanner which was old---there's a learning curve. My other issue is the learning curve for copying negatives. Had an alignment issue. The machine is great.....but why does it have to be so hard with different sleeves, optional sleeves and poor documentation? Would buy it again but haven't had the time to watch the youtubes to figure out how to maximize its potential.

Good Quality Scanning of Photos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this scanner to scan thousands of old photos. I have scanned around 3000 photos so far. The process is pretty smooth. The quality of the scans is good. For some of the older photos I have been about to adjust the scanner settings and bring out some details in the photos that have probably never been seen before.

This is a great scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this is a great scanner. I takes a little time to get used to and figure out all the functions. I have a Canon scanner and after using the Epson for some time now think it's the best. My old Canon scanner would not work with Windows 10. The Epson has no problem connecting. After scanning about 600 slides, negatives and photographs, I believe the Epson does best with the photos. You can set out several photos and in some modes the Epson will scan each picture separately. It does a great job with small photos.

A good scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both speed and quality are much better than Epson WF-3640's. If you want to do scanning photos, this is the scanner to use.

Greta quality scans
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, impressed with the quality of the scans. Great scanner for photos
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The scanner works great. The scans are pretty close to the actual printed photo's. I ended up settling with 2MB files. I attempted 5MB files but it was saying it would take 30 minutes. A little slower than I expected on picture scanning if you want a 2 mb file. However, a 1 MB file or less scans pretty quick. The software didn't really work well for me to clean up the picture, so I started over and make the adjustments in Photoshop Elements. I am glad that I bought it.

High quality, bulky scanner
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner is fantastic. I use it for scanning and restoring old photos. It‘s important to note that this scanner is quite bulky compared to most flatbed scanners. That’s due to it being able to scan film as well, which I haven‘t tested. The Epson software is pretty good, but note that there are other good options out there such as Silverfast that will make for excellent results. If you have a huge amount of film to scan, it will likely take a very long time to scan everything with this type of scanner.

Epson Scanner v600
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality scanner with good optics. slightly frustrating to find actual corners of scan range (max lines). would be nice to have a template like the film slide holders that could be used to have images at other corners from origin corner. Speed, color accuracy and noise levels are good.

Perfect scanner for what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this scanner for a digitizing photos and slides for family members, after months of research I decided on this one and have been very pleased. I have scanned hundreds of photos and slides so far and have been very impressed with the clarity and restoration I've been able to achieve. There is a slight learning curve to enhancing old slides, they turn out the best when scanning them in professional mode. At first I had issues with the Epson application closing out when I would use other programs while scanning, but I now run the program as an administrator and I can continue scanning while using other programs without the threat of having it close out in the middle of a scan. If you have a lot of photos, slides, negatives etc. I highly recommend this scanner.

Does a great job
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have any experience with other photo scanners but this one did a great job and setup was minimal. I was able to scan old family photos and negatives at throw in them in to photoshop with ease. The DPI was a bit confusing at first because the software lets you select negative scan DPIs in the dropdown even if you have it set to flatbed scans and it'll give you an error without telling you that's what you're doing wrong.
