This machine works really well, it is a little pricey but it is good. At first it was a little hard and took a long time to scan pictures. I figured it was able to do more than one picture at a time but I had to go looking into how to do it. I would have liked there to have been information in the instruction booklet on how to do it, instead of having to do research. Other than that I am very pleased with how the pictures to turn out when scanned in.

My family has taken slide photos since the 1950's which I want to bring into digital format for sharing. I had a 4180 Perfection scanner which finally croaked, so this V600 is it's replacement. So far, it's great! Scanning 4 slides at a time takes ~3 minutes, faster than the older model I had.

Great scanner. Being a NON techy grandma, do wish software was simpler to use. But after many google searches. Got this to do the job very well

Used to have thousands of negatives in boxes for over 40 years. I rescued part of my life and other's life. Epson V600 is very reliable, good price and easy to handle. I'am more or less of a self made tech guy and had problem at the beginning that couldn't understand why. Then discovered the WIA -Windows Image Acquisition- setting was wrong. Now it works like a breeze. It is not the fastest scanner but you'll learn how to set it to your needs and preferences and enjoy for many years. The installation disk comes with ABBYY Fine Reader and Adobe Photoshop Element 11.

Amazing quality for a great price. great for sports cards and photos

omg! I had a canon negative scanner for about 12 years and it lasted for that long. i was due for an update, and this one, is great. i mainly only have 34mm in color and b&w. and i've been scanning away. follow the directions and slow down with the process and you will see results. i love this one. and i had to wait a few months, cause everywhere else was out, including bestbuy. so worth the wait. plus with this purchase, i got the those great points.

Great product, it is easy to set up and use and makes quality pictures

Quality scanner with good optics. slightly frustrating to find actual corners of scan range (max lines). would be nice to have a template like the film slide holders that could be used to have images at other corners from origin corner. Speed, color accuracy and noise levels are good.

Scanning Slides and pictures with hi resolution is really easy. Works perfectly with Win 10.

I bought this a year ago from Best Buy and LOVE IT! I have scanned 120 year old photos, slides and documents. I have used all sorts of formats and it is so easy to use. Everything I throw at it has come back better than expected. I have computer experience, but I am not a pro. Very intuitive. And for those not computer savvy, the instructions are straight forward. I regret not buying it sooner.

Works well, impressed with the quality of the scans. It took a bit of messing around with but was able to scan 3 photos at once and get it to automatically crop them individually.

I bought his for my wife and she is happy with it. She's using it to upload and restore olf family pictures.

Quality scanner at great price. Simple to connect and use with laptop or computer.

Great scanners for home users. Used this to scan my old 35mm negatives and it does the job well. Only negatives are that they should package and ship it better. It comes with the original box in shipping and the box was badly torn. Luckily in this instance, the scanner wasn't broken. It could have been worse looking at the condition of the box that it came in.

I am a writer and bought this to scan in photos for a client's memoirs. I have yet to put this thing through its paces, but so far it's been very simple to use, and seems like the best way to get high scan resolutions while not paying for something that's meant for photo pros. My computer is close to ten years old and had no problem linking up with this thing.

This scanner is great. I sell sports cards on eBay and this scanner gets me the best pictures for my products. High quality for a low price!

I have an Apple MacBook. I was very disappointed when I tried to add the software to my MacBook. It would not download because it’s not 64 software, not patible with my MacBook. After searching the Internet I did find a 64 software that room would work. It did not have all the bells and whistle‘s the other software had but it did work. As for the scanner itself, it is excellent For what I need.

Perfect for scanning in old photos. It’s a bit bulky, but the quality of the scans are very good.

There are fewer and fewer incentives for companies to manufacture film scanners, and I very much fear Epson will throw in the towel sooner or later. Before that happens, this is a good buy - my old Perfection 500 lasted nearly 8 years before it got outmoded for the Mac, and hopefully this one will last as long. It's easy to use, relatively inexpensive, and a good performer.
