New at This
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a retired person wanting to save some of the old pictures, the V600 is getting the job done. It was a little challenging to use in the beginning but as with anything, once one has learn how, it is getting easy to use more of the functions of the V600.

The Perfection V600 replaces a Perfection V500.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earlier V500 had been rendered obsolete by time & advancement of apps. I'm still getting acquainted with some of the V600 features but it is effectively scanning slides, negatives, and photos as hoped. The setups are a little different than the V500 and so I'm still fine tuning.

Decent film scanner
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it does it's job well enough for 35mm film scanning, it does a much better job for 120 film though since it's a bigger film stock. Scanning could be better but it's an older scanner at this point.

Epson - Perfection V600 Photo Scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many other Epson scanner and as far as a Flat Bed Scanner, I have to say this one is very fast and efficient. I love the software and hardware. Don't go lessor than this one. They may be cheaper, but for the money this is a real work horse.

Great Scanner Crappy Instructions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you figure out what is going on, this is a really excellent scanner and works flawlessly. My only issue is the instructions which are particularly opaque. Once you figure it out you will be very pleased with the results.

Epson Photo Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner takes a long time to scan at high resolution. Since this is used do digitize a large number of family photos, we had to reduce the resolution to get the scan time acceptable. The scanner software stopped working and we re-installed to get it working again. However,we needed to adjust the scan properties again since it went back to the defaults. We should have paid more for a faster scanner.

Better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched scanners for several months when my old Epson 500 had isssues with OS updates. Since I need both the flat bed and film fuctions the V600 works great for both. If I ever need a beter slide scan I can add a Plusek for $350. However after working with it for 2 weeks the slides I have scanned are very good.

Good but not without it's Faults
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a very good scanner for a decent price. It's not going to give you professional results but then again, it's not a professional price. Contrary to what others have wrote, it works fine with Windows 10. But it is finicky about the scanning windows being absolutely clean or it leaves lines across the scan. As others have said, avoid using the ICE technology, it leaves the scans grainy. I've come to conclusion it's better to just scan and do any photo restoration outside of the scanner software. Overall, I'm pleased with the product.

Great for slides
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t tried all the features but works great for digitizing slides. The software takes some time to learn how to use. I’ve had to use YouTube videos to learn how to use the software.

Great negative scanner.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as advertised. Had a lot of slides and negatives to scan, quality is great and faster that I was used to with a 20 year old scanner. Probably through 500+ at the point and still works fine.

Saved my life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the library locked down, I was desperate to get a scanner to finish recording commissions. And it’s the same scanner as the library has! I love it.
