Customers are saying
Customers regard the Perfection V600 Photo Scanner as user-friendly and easy to set up, even for those who are not tech-savvy. They appreciate the high-quality scans and the scanner's ability to handle various media, including negatives, film slides, and old photos. Good deal -- a great scanner at a fair price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great little scanner. Small enough to carry with me, but big enough to do the job. I have yet to figure out how to use all of the enhancements that are built in to the scanner, but am very happy with the scans I get. I bought it because it does scans of both film and paper, and was slightly disappointed that there is a limit of a couple of inches on film -- I have some 3x5" negatives that I have to scan in two passes and stitch the images together because they are too big. However, as I scan paper photos, I'm very happy with the high resolution available, and am satisfied with the speed (I'm scanning photos from a historical archive, and we wanted to scan at as high a resolution as practical).

Scans docs, photos and negatives - very pleased
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great scanner - upgrade to SilverFast Scanner Software to get the most out of it. About the scanner- good construction. The lid stays up on its own at 60 degrees. This frees both hands to adjust whatever you are scanning. The plastic inserts support different sizes of negatives and slides. Very accurate tracking. I can repeatedly scan at different exposures to get the most information from my negatives and the scans overlay each other perfectly. Recommend

Easy to use and good price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This picture scanner does great for old photos and Polaroids. I scanned hundreds of pictures and the software was easy to use. My only issue is that it doesn’t automatically correct red eye issues within photos.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.does excellent job on slides, photos come out looking great, using I.C.E. has a learning curve - some photos came out worse than the original and I had to use Auto mode

Great scanner for the price, for 35mm slides
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have scanned about 10 trays of 35mm slides so far, since I bought this item a month ago. It takes about an hour per tray(30 slides or so), at the settings I am using. The best review I read was by “Mike from Detroit” or “M1k3 from D3tro1t” on Amazon reviews. It was multiple pages that described the best settings for this unit. My only deviation from his recommendations was I am saving them as .tif and not JPG(at 1 compression), because I have plenty of hard drive space to save the larger files. The unit has many settings when you set it to professional mode. I found the above mentioned review excellent for determining the best settings to use.

Scanner upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New MacBook pro required an update of my previous epson scanner. Not happy that this type of forced action be taken, but the Perfection v600 has proven an easy install, and has performed to expectations.

Easy to use and great quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've scanned over a couple of thousand photos with the Epson Perfection and I highly recommend it. The quality is outstanding. There's no warm up time delay. I don't use the filmstrip attachment but have had no problems whatsoever scanning my 4X6 photos. It's a breeze. No complaints!

Worked right out of the box
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, quality is pretty good. Lot of options to fix the photo before scanning. I'm using mainly for slides. The instructions only describe how to use the many options. Found many useful guidelines about scanning on youtube.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a scanner I could use to preserve family photos easily. This product lets me place more than one picture at a time on the screen and automatically saves the cropped images as single pictures saving me tons of time. I love it!

Great Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to scan old slides and negatives, does a great job producing high-quality scans. Know that this model only does up to medium format film, so you will need a more expensive model to do large format. Very pleased with this purchase.
