Overall, this system can scan negatives, slides, and prints. Be ready for prolonged scan times if you are like me and need large image files. Would recommend scanning to an external hard drive.

This scanner was easy to setup and easy to use. I developed black and white negatives taken around 1965 and the turned out great. I was very pleased.

I have 't had a chance to really put this scanner to the test yet. It works well as a scanner. I'm looking forward to using it to scan old negatives I've held on to from college and my childhood.

    Not great with Mac, Catalina

Even though there is a work around driver available for Catalina it didn't work, causing all kinds of problems resulting in hours with Apple and Epson support. Finally, I had to uninstall Catalina and reinstall Mojave in order to get it to work properly. After that it did a good job scanning and the ability to scan four slides or pictures at a time is a nice feature. It is still very time consuming involving several steps before the picture is finally put in Photos. It doesn't just scan them directly into photos. Thank goodness I only have to do this once since new photos go right into the computer

So far a good scanner I think. I've not had one for scanning negatives before. I woudl have gived 5 stars but for the 35mm negative holder. It is flimsy and the peice that holds the negatives in place doesn't stay put. It snaps into place poorly. It really should be better made.

The scanner fits my needs to scan slides, negatives, and pictures. Would be nice if a little more detailed instruction book was included, not just the start up guide.

So far have scanned over 5000 photos, some over 100 years old. Scanner does a great job bringing out the details of even stamp size photos. Have only about 5000 more to go! Epson V600 perfection working hard and doing very well w/o problems.

I purchased the scanner to do 35mm slides and old photographs. It does a remarkable job. One just needs patience, Four slides at a time is still a time-consuming process. The auto-fix software is incredible.

Excellent small scanner for everyday needs. I use it for photo scanning and document scanning. While the software is suited for Windows, Epson offers downloads for the Mac OS.

This is a good scanner for average use. It is sufficiently fast and accurate and has good resolution. The cable connectors are in the back, which is a nice improvement over my previous Epson where the connectors were at the front/side. The old one worked fine but the tension on the cables eventually snapped the contact. Repair would have been $50 or more (for a $100 machine), so I bought a new one instead. It's pretty evident that manufacturers have put zero investment into the technology in the last 10 years and treat it as a free cash cow. The only change that I see in the last decade is that they've increased the prices.
