Customers are saying

Customers regard the Perfection V600 Photo Scanner as user-friendly and easy to set up, even for those who are not tech-savvy. They appreciate the high-quality scans and the scanner's ability to handle various media, including negatives, film slides, and old photos. This scanner meets my needs for scanning photos and especially scanning negatives. Scanning negatives was my main goal and it is handling it well. I downloaded the scanning software from Epson's website and it is very usable. The dust removal option is good and there are other useful features. The negative holder is a little flimsy, but when you get used to it and put the leading edge of your negatives under the retaining clips, it works well. I am using this with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and that is working well for me. You can get a 30 day trial from their website for a no risk evaluation of it.

This scanner was recommended to me for scanning my artwork to turn into prints. It does a great job. My artwork is crisp and clear. Only thing I wish is that it was bluetooth capable so I don't have to plug in my laptop to create my scans. I'm happy with the large scanning bed, I'd love it to be a bit wider but all in all its a great option for an artist on a budget just starting out in making prints with their artwork.

Purchased V600 scanner to scan old family photos and 'especially' negatives. Interface is a little clunky using USB, but gets the job done. I especially like the included holders for slides and negatives. This makes scanning slides and negatives a breeze.

    Better than I Imagined

This scanner does a better job than I imagined. Frankly I thought it was simply a high quality scanner for your photos. I didn't pay much mind to the promises of correcting color or damaged photos. But it does an impressive job of restoring color to decades old photos. I don't know how it does it but it's very impressive. The only feature that's a bit lacking is the ICE function. At times, it over processes the damaged photo to the point of creating digitized squares at the corner of the frame.

Great scanner for trading card slabs. Easy app with editing functions. Only wish it did silver prizm cards. Background is silver and it scans it black. Also not good at scanning darker colors or any card with shiny details.

    A good scanner for slides

A few years back (which probably 2008). I bought a scanner, but didn't use it until 2015. I had to throw this first purchase out. I scanned, but it didn't equate to 2015. So I searched, and found this scanner. I read what people reviewed and based my purchase according to that. This scanner is now scanning slides from 1968 and before. I can now burn CD's for my brothers and sisters who don't have any knowledge of these photos. I would recommend this for anyone who has old slides. The down-side is that is takes time.
