Great scanner

After a lot of research, this scanner is the best bang for the buck. It outperforms the lower priced scanners and has many features of the higher priced scanners. This scanner is making the project much less painful.

This scanner is bringing memories back to life. It is able to restores the photo so that it's clear. They look like the photos were taken recently. The red isn't there on the old 1970s photos. I even like that I can brighten the photo from a darker photo. Wow! This is true especially with the old Kodak Instant photos. Excellent so far. I haven't tried scanning slides or negatives yet, but so far, the scanner is worth the money.

Good Price and Image Quality

The included software works fine, but paired with Adobe Photoshop Elements I have been able to do everything I have needed to do. I have not tested scanning negatives, but plan to in the near future. So far so good.

I have not used it yet so I will wait until I do to provide a more in depth review. I’m looking forward to digitizing my many, many photos!

Epson photo scanner

It replaced a ten yr old perfection 1250 scanner whose lamp would not “warm up”
