It worked very well from the outset. However, once my printer went belly up, I replaced this item with an upgraded printer including the scanner element. I traded in the V600 for the new printer unit. Nonetheless, this scanner fully met my needs while my first printer was working.

Ok if you get a good one

The first one streaked down photo on top right due to - I believe- dust on underside. The second one also had something on underside of scan bed. Third one seems ok. For the price if you can get a good one they work well. They need to make scan glass removable for cleaning.

For every page I want to scan I have to go to the computer and start up the scan software, and the scan software closes after each scan. This makes for extremely long scan times when there are multiple pages to scan. However, scan quality is excellent!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This has worked just okay so far except that I have to go in to the computer for each scan..rather than being able to scan from the scan button on the scanner itself...That is a pain in the behind..but I cannot return the scanner since it is past the 14 day return policy so I am stuck with it! If anyone out there knows a solution for this problem, I would be more than grateful for the advise on how to fix this!
