Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This has worked just okay so far except that I have to go in to the computer for each scan..rather than being able to scan from the scan button on the scanner itself...That is a pain in the behind..but I cannot return the scanner since it is past the 14 day return policy so I am stuck with it! If anyone out there knows a solution for this problem, I would be more than grateful for the advise on how to fix this!

It has more options than the V500 scanner I had previously. It is very easy to learn how to use it and produces clear and accurate scans of my pictures. I have not had a chance to use the processing of negatives but from reading the user guide it looks to be as easy as scanning photos. I would recommend this scanner for home and small office use.

It is better than expected for scanning old photos. The included software does gives you a lot of control over the final image and lets you output to file formats other than JPG. Very happy with thios purchase.

For every page I want to scan I have to go to the computer and start up the scan software, and the scan software closes after each scan. This makes for extremely long scan times when there are multiple pages to scan. However, scan quality is excellent!

Needed to put all my documents into a disc or flash drive. Have already done many of them with no problem. Will be starting pictures soon, many albums back to the 1930's. So far so good. I didn't want use my printer scanner combo as I believe I had so much it would have destroyed the printer and scanner.

Better to watch YouTube videos because the manual really is poorly written Product is the perfect scanner for advanced photographer who wants to scan slides or negatives software is easy to use. I would buy again!
