Nice Scanner for older Macs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was working great after I finally got someone from thee makers of the driver software to walk me through how to make it work. Then my new MacBook Pro M1 13" doesn't have enough ports to plug it into. I don't yet know how to hook it to my new Mac. I hope Apple can put out some sort of adapters soon or maybe a third party company.

Does Not Play Well With Windows 11
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a good flatbed scanner to digitize our family photo collection. After reading several "best of" reviews, I purchased this model from BB. I could not get it to work with my Windows 11 PC. I searched for and tried solutions from various Windows, EPSON and other user forums with no success. Tried the EPSON customer service line with no success. From my research, it sure seemed like alot of people were having similar problems, with no single solution fixing it. This scanner has been around a while, but looks like it does not always play well with Windows 11. I see people using older Windows 10 PC's as one solution to get their projects done. Getting a peripheral device to work should not be this hard. I returned it.

Excellent scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used it to scan 60 year old slides. Some needed color correction and needed the Ice feature. What wonderful results especially when coupled with the normal photo programs.Have not tried with negatives yet but if its anything like the slide scans I wil be impressed. A lot of fun to use. A bit slow but can be doing other computer things while it is scanning.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great software makes scanning ease. Great for photos and daily office paperwork. Wish there was a little better software for OCR search. Had to research online to find what we needed. Should have been much easier.

Needs to catch up to MacOS 11
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It serves the purpose of scanning family photos to preserve a digital copy. Unfortunately, Epson hasn’t kept up to date with the MacOS 11. Epson gives you a link to a free software as a “work-around” but you’ve got to learn it without Epson. The Epson documentation (manual) shows “how-to” scan, edit, enhance, etc with the included Epson driver.

Flatbed Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great replacement for my Canon 8800F. This flat bed scanner seems to have all the functions and features of my old Canon scanner that died recently. I have only had the device for a couple of months but so far it looks very good

Speedy, great quality scanning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works fast and creates excellent scans of photos. The only thing I don't like is that the Epson Scan software doesn't allow selecting 48-bit color in the home mode. This means you have to select the professional mode and do one photo at a time. Though with scanning negatives you can do 48-bit color and it automatically gets all of the photos you have in the negatives on the flatbed.

Great Scanner for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson V600 scanner worked well with my Dell Desktop and Windows 10. I'm primarily scanning old color and black and white photos and using it to scan documents. I have not scanned a lot of documents yet but the small quantity I've scanned have come out with high resolution in less than 30 seconds. The documents are very crisp and look just like the original. Very happy with the purchase. I got it for $225.
