No option for extra templates and no template for size 620. Templates subject to break. Thanks. Have saved over 200 negatives still counting.

Great Scanner

LED is quick. The SilverFast software (comes with purchase) offers great flexibility for all media.

Not the best (no automatic multipage feed) for multipage docs, but great for all those special mementos that you have in that family photo box, or the kids' art and school papers that are now dog-eared and gathering dust.

Great scanner

This was a more than adequate replacement. In the first 2 weeks I scanned over 600 slides from family archives as far back as 1950!!! Smooth operation and results I've come to expect from Epson products. I give it 4.9 stars... nothing is absolutely perfect.

Did exactly what I wanted

It worked very well. 4 slides at a time. Prints were trickier because sometimes I could do 2-3 and get 2-3 separate images. But too often, I got all in one image. Some I could split off with my photo editor. Need to download the Windows 10 drivers.

Free SilverFast8 software is a great improvement over Epson software, unfortunately it's not the latest version. Scanning area is a bit odd, not edge to edge of the glass. One of the best, consumer/affordable scanners available.
