It basically replicates the functions of the older Epson and adds other functions that I will probably never use, but the price was right and I have been satisfied so far.

May be because I've never scanned negatives before but so far, I have not hand any luck printing pictures from the scanned negatives. Some photos do not scan well, however I think that is due to the pictures themselves. They are very old so the clarity is not as I hoped they would be.

Now I have to drive back to BestBuy and get a USB 3.x to USB-C adapter and hope that it works as it should. Two hours of travel and $10 in tolls for what it needs to work with a lot of new computers. I could put in a dig at Apple for not including a USB 3.x port on their new computers, but this isn't a review of my Apple MBP.
