Now I have to drive back to BestBuy and get a USB 3.x to USB-C adapter and hope that it works as it should. Two hours of travel and $10 in tolls for what it needs to work with a lot of new computers. I could put in a dig at Apple for not including a USB 3.x port on their new computers, but this isn't a review of my Apple MBP.

I expect Epson will rectify this soon, but I got two weeks out of this scanner before it stopped working and displayed a communication error. Also note that the flatbed scanning surface is NOT a full 8.5 x 11. If your are primarily using for slide / negs you’re good.

POOR UPGRADE

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HORRIBLE upgrade from a V5oo After about 12 hours of trying to get this working, and waiting 3 days on Labor day weekend, I got through to Epson help (Philippines) following a script of questions. Fast forward, I asked to speak to somebody in the USA and got a nice guy from Epson Support. Well - after trying multiple ADD/REMOVE instances, and a registry cleaner, we CANT get the v500 software removed and the v600 software to work. I am currently waiting to hear back from Epson, it JUST SHOULDNT BE THIS HARD!!!
