I called Epson customer care and they went through all the troubleshooting with me and when that was unsuccessful, they determined that they would need to replace the scanner. They said that they would email me a label to send the scanner back to them but I didn't receive the email, so I called them again. Once again they said that they would email a label and confirmed my email again. Still no label, so I called them again. It has been another 24 hours and I still haven't received a label. Due to best buys short return period, I can't return it to best buy either, so now It looks like I have spent a lot of money on a piece of junk. Recommend avoiding Epson and avoiding best buy due to the short return period.

So much promise from the marketing materials but essentially have to do a lot manually. That being said, once you get the hang of it, not too bad. Just wish it looked like it was written within the last ten years.
