Great scanner scans photos, 35MM and 120Mm slides and negatives. Can get optional adapters for 110,126,127 films

I am super happy with this scanner, use it mainly for scanning my paintings in acrylic color. And the scans come out perfect!! I did some research before buying and not disappointed with the purchase. One thing I didn't like is that you can't remove the lid.

This scanner has a holder for slides. The automatic color correction on very old slides worked very well. Great scanner for the price.

The product was a huge dissapointment. I bought it specifically to scan oversize vintage glass negatives. My fault for inadequate research, but the limitation was not that apparent until I received the unit and then studied the photos of the unit in more detail. I thought this unit could scan full size 8.5 x 13" negatives. Why the manufacturer didn't make the unit do this is beyond my comprehension. Product description might have noted this limitation more clearly. My ratings below reflect this limitation. I never fully unpacked the unit - stopped as soon as I realized the limitation. Scanner may be perfectly adequate for other uses. Best Buy store took back the online purchased scanner for a full instantaneous refund to my credit card. HIGH MARKS FOR BEST BUY. Still, that took a 140 mile round trip to the nearest store initally to look at and research the unit (none on display, no one around to ask questions, although I could have gone to the Geek central and maybe gotten the needed answer). And then another 140 mile trip to return the scanner.

About a year ago, I bought an Epson Perfection V600 Photo Color Scanner to replace my old scanner. My old scanner was an Epson and had given me years of great service, so I had no reservations about purchasing another Epson. But, the new one hasn't worked since I set it up. The image has a "blurry rainbow" that runs down the left side. I contacted Epson Customer Support multiple times and keep getting a run-around. If they can't read it off the Tech Support script, then they don't seem to know how to respond. I've scoured the Internet for a solution with no luck. And...yes...since this isn't the only focus in my life, it's been forgotten and run out of warranty and return time. SO, the moral of this story is...Epson isn't the reliable company it used to be. And if it doesn't work, then take it back IMMEDIATELY and don't deal with Epson Customer Support.

Use this for archiving film negatives and works like a charm. Get great details and see all the grain detail.

I bought this to scan slides. Had hundreds and went fast, can scan multiple in the supplied frame. Was going to send the slides out to be scanned, this saved me a lot of $ and was very easy

Scans are OK, but color slides are sometimes very light and have to be done again. And with documents, the preview screen is VERY low quality, not legible at all. I bought it to replace my 8 year old V500, but I am sorry I did. It is past the Best Buy return date. Been exchanging emails with their tech support, but no help at all.

Solid product and gets the job done! If you’re looking to scan film i would also get new film slide trays but other than that! It’s good!

Product was defective but Best Buy took it back with no hassle and issued a fast refund upon receipt of scanner. Discovered from on-line reviews this is a common problem with this scanner.

Watch some YouTube tutorials on this to begin with. I found it to be somewhat difficult to a give the desired scan on negatives

This product worked exactly as described for 1 year and 9 months. The software installed easily. The software was easy to use. It made great scans from pictures. It made great scans from negatives. Without warning, when I powered it up, an orange error light blinks. According to Epson this error means "the scanner may be malfunctioning, or the scanner light source may need to be replaced". Epson provides no solution to correct "malfunctioning" nor do they offer a procedure to replace the light source. This scanner is now completely useless. Will never buy another Epson product

Product worked great. Instructions were sketchy at best. Took me 20 minutes to find the "ON" switch. Thank goodness for UTube videos

I would definitely recommend this product. It meets all my requirements for my business. It was easy to set up and has been easy to use.
