The HP paper does not print well with the Epson (it smudges). I'm sure the same is true vise versa. Makes sense... only buy Epson photo paper for Epson printer.

I have an Epson Printer and I choose to buy a bargain brand and some Kodak photo paper and both sucked in my printer. So Always stick with the same brand as your printer.
