Couldn’t hook it up to any exterior speakers. What’s the point of that??!!

Purchased this for my office to project spreadsheet presentations. The resolution was very poor. I called Epson tech support for assistance and the rep acknowledged that this model was not adequate for my needs. He advised returning and upgrading to an XGA or WXGA model. I ended up getting the Epson model VS255 WXGA model which was a vast improvement. Also, please be advised that returning this projector is subject to a restocking fee. I missed that notice when I originally purchased it.

This projector sucks. Has only one HDMI and audio inputs doesn't work. Not a great one to recommend.

I had to return it. It was marketed by Best Buy as great for business, but when I had issues and called Epson, they said it would never work for business presentations. Unfortunately I was also told by Best Buy that I had to pay $45 restocking fee.

This is a review for the Epson VS250 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This projector is very easy and fast setting up out of the box. It has a lot of different settings, but it's very user friendly in using. I set it up, and used it without reading the instructions first just to see how easy it is to use. After going back and reading the instructions they were very detailed, and easy to understand for those who may not be to tech savvy. I love that you can hook the projector to your laptop, TV, Phone, and different media devices with cords you already have. Connecting each one is very easy. The picture is amazing, as well as being able to change the size etc. for your preference. Also it has great sound quality, and while running you can't even really hear it. I had it one at once for a few hours, and it never overheated. This projector is well worth the cost, and just as good as the higher priced ones. It will do anything you need to do with a projector, so it's a good purchase. One last thing I loved is it's compact size. It's very easy to move around, and take to different locations.

“This is a review for the Epson VS250 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” We have been looking for a projector to replace the one we have for our community movie night. It is set up on the community field and takes place in summer. Last year we had an issue with the projector being not bright enough as even at 8 ‘o’ clock it is not dark enough. We just had the 1st movie night with the Epson VS250 projector and everyone was impressed by how bright it was even though we still had some light. Even when I project it in our home to play a movie I did not have to turn off the lights and were still able to see it very clearly. The best feature of the projector is the bright, clear picture. Setting up was also very easy though there were not much instruction about the remote, it was not too hard to figure out how it will work. I liked that the battery for the remote was included. The projector came with a VGA cord but missed having an HDMI which is the cord most people needs nowadays. None of our computers have a VGA port, thankfully I had an extra cord at home. The other thing that I really wish the projector came with was the WI-FI Module. I prefer setting things wirelessly and the projector is costly enough to come with the module. I just ordered the wi-fi module and am waiting for it hopefully it will make the connections and projections much easier. Overall a very satisfactory projector especially if your requirement is for a brighter HD quality picture you can surely go for it.

We have been looking for a projector to use for movie nights both while at home and while we're traveling. We had a tiny projector that we used to watch movies on the side of our trailer while camping but it just wasn't the quality we wanted. The Epson VS250 is exactly what we were looking for. It is super simple to set up and run via USB cable from our laptop. With just a quick plug into the USB port we were rolling. It also comes with VGA and HDMI ports for use with multiple media sources. It does now, however, come with cables for any of these. With a brightness of 3200 lumens your room doesn't need to be dark to see the projection, which is nice for starting movies before it's dark out. The harsh light of the sunset did prove to be a bit difficult but I don't think that's the projector's fault. The audio output also leaves a bit to be desired. While we we're able to hear the sound from the movie we found that we were all huddled very close to the projector in order to do so. I imagine this wouldn't be quite as much of an issue for business presentations or watching movies in a smaller, enclosed environment. Overall I am quite happy with the Epson VS250 projector. At the price point it offers great value and performance.

I am very happy with my Projector, I have been teaching for over a year now and like everything else times are changing. So as times change we have to adjust likewise. I used my projector to keep my students envolved and engaged. The picture was so clear and the mobility of my projector was far none! My class and I were able to bond after viewing the presentations that we all had to present with our new class Projector! The Epson Projector VS250 has added significant improvements to my next level of development and teaching and is a must have for the professional and or personal usage! My family and I got a chance to watch a Family Movie and have a family movie night as well! So not only did I score for my students. I also scored for my family two for one! Can’t beat that at all! One of the best investments by far!

We are using this projector for a Sunday school classroom. Over 3000 lumens provides the perfect projection for our lectures. HDMI and SVGA available. Easy to toggle from one input to another.

The projector came very nicely and safely packaged. It is a nice size and not to heavy so easy to carry , portability is a plus ! The projector has a very professional look and feel to it. It is so simple to set up and has all the controls and ports I need! It comes with a remote to control everything right in your hand. The image on the projector is clear and bright ,perfect ! I am very pleased and already have two presentations set up for this month ,can not wait to test it out in front of everyone !

I was expecting quality like what the school projectors would show ages ago, but this is really nice! We can watch movies on a screen or I can take it to work and use it for presentations. It is very universal and super easy to use. Overall, this suits all of my needs for business and pleasure!

All of the parts nicely packaged. Set up was a breeze. I followed the instructions and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I was able to hook it up to my laptop and to my streaming device. The projector works really well too. Picture quality is perfect. It does get warm when in use for a long time but have not had any issue with it getting too hot. The fan is not as quiet as I'd like but honestly that's not an issue because the sound quality from this projector is really great. I've used it hooked up to separate speakers and not, the sound is good regardless. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering purchasing a projector. It is very intuitive to set up and use, and the sound and picture quality are professional looking. Perfect for home use, events, and work uses too.

The exciting thing is that you can project a huge image on to the wall, and that gives you the movie theater experience. The image looks like that, and the colors are true and accurate. The images are nice and bright even in a well-lit room. I got the projector out of the box, plugged it in to the wall, hooked it up to my computer. All this only took about 10 minutes. I was able to watch a movie, and the projected image was about 15 ft, and even at that size, I lost nothing in image quality. The unit itself feels high quality and durable. The speakers are a little soft, which is sufficient for a small group of people, but if the group is larger, you will need external speakers. Overall, this is a well-made, high-quality projector that doesn't break the bank. I would definitely recommend the Epson VS250 Projector whether it be for business or personal use.

Which include it is easy to use and is just light enough to be mobile. The clarity is something that I was pleasantly surprised by. You can watch videos, movies or shows with this projector and you will feel like you are viewing it on a tv. This is a big plus for me. Additionally you will have be able to view photos on this as well without that fuzzy projector look. The not so positive part of this projector is that it doesn't have sound built into it so you will need something else to help the volume be loud enough for the size of the room. If that is not a deal breaker for you then this is the projector for you. You can use this for all your projector needs and wants. I would recommend this for personal and professional use.

This is a review for the EpsonVS250 projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The projector has a nice look and is compact/lightweight for very easy transport. Set up was a breeze; I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I intend to use this projector purely for recreation (movies and video games). To that end, the picture was amazingly crisp and sharp. I only had two small call outs. First, the sound quality could be a little better and secondly, I had to move the unit closer to my viewing screen than I would have liked (the telescoping feature only adjusted so far). Overall, great unit that I would definitely recommend.

I love that it's lite enough to take anywhere and that the picture is clear. And also that it is reasonably priced.

This projector is good projector for casual use even some commercial use as well. If you aren’t going for picture perfect this projector is great I love watching movies on a Sunday night. But, if you going to show pictures at a party. Don’t expect sharp images especially at lower then hd quality. For that I recommend a epson home cinema projector 2150 to name one that one has a 1080 output. Bottom line this is a good entry projector for you casual users like me.
