On Linux based systems, like my son's laptop, there is no support. He found this to be very disappointing so he uses the scanner with a Windows machine where it works well.

After the grueling process of scanning a page, it failed to save numerous time. I finally got it to scan one page, then scanned 10 individually (took forever) and it didn't save again. For the price point and for the number of documents I needed this was not the solution for me. I wouldn't purchase again even if I needed it on the fly. I'd just go to a FedEx or Kinkos or scan my docs before I leave home.
