This is a great product which can perform a variety of scans.

After spending over 2 hours on the phone with Epson tech support, they told me this Epson scanner doesnt work with Windows 11. They said it is a "known microsoft glitch"!! I was NOT happy i spent all of that time trying to set up something that is known to not work with Windows 11. Very disappointing. Fortunately we have our old imac that the scanner is compatible with. Now to figure out where to store the photos once they are scanned. The directions dont go into how to store the photos scanned.

When it connects correctly in WIN11, it works well. Very solidly built. I could see it used in the field. Ingenious compact design which unfolds for paper feed. Hopefully, a new software update will have it work better. It's very sensitive. I expect, to the order of power up for correct connection.

Very good article so far. No problems with it. Easy to set up.

The scanner performs very well. The only issue is sometimes the paper will slide at an angle while being scanned even through I try to place the paper as straight as I can in the scanner tray. The scan is slightly crooked.

Purchased this as a gift for a relative of mine who loves scanning receipts and tracking expenses.

The ES-200 is a compact and weights around 2lb 7oz. It’s portable and handy to carry or use in a compact office table. The scanner looks attractive very well made, solid and durable. The directions are easy to follow; one should read the instruction very carefully. The software download was quick, finding the right driver is bit tricky and not straight forward. Setting up and installation went much smoother. The ES-200 is supper fast, I was surprised with the quality and speed of this scanner. Auto feed works really well, but you do have to be careful to stagger the sheets a little so that the back sheet is the first to touch the feed rollers. Document capture pro is a great software. I can scan a large volume of documents all at once quickly. I like the double sided scan option. I can now scan a lot in an hour, which would have taken many long time on all the previous scanners I have used. I like the multiple options to store all my files on cloud like in google drive, Evernotes, OneNote. Just set up the destination once to google drive or Evernote or OneNote and it will automate all sync process. This is a huge timesaver and benefit. Scanner is worth the cost, it’s solid and unique. I would recommend this scanner to anyone who is a moderate to heavy scanner user and has a portable or moving work space. I had one of the first generation scanners ages ago and have slowly upgraded scanners and gone through quite a few and this one is the latest and greatest so far. PROS: The set up and installation of the hardware and software was very easy. This scanner is fast! The auto-feed function truly helps with that and is great when you have a lot to scan. I also find the double-sided scanning feature very useful. Another unexpected surprise for me was a card (credit/business/gift) scanning mode as well! CONS: Other reviewers claim that the compact size is good for travel. Honestly, I still wouldn't travel with this when they have apps like Scanner Pro that I can just use on my phone. However, this scanner is perfect for my small office. Another drawback is that I couldn't get really high quality scans of photos. Overall: I would still recommend this scanner for almost all my needs except for if I needed to have high-quality scans of photos. It is compact, fast, and has use features.
