Love this little scanner! It does exactly what I needed it to do

excellent machine, like best buy price, cheaper then amazon and i got it same day.

My first thought/impression was that the scanner is really small, which I love. My experience with this is that set up was a bit different than what I am used to. It is a little longer and slightly more involved. The product’s performance was really nice and did better than I originally thought. After the initial set up was taken care of, the scanner was quicker than I expected. It even did double sided in one pass, although you have to select that from the software, pushing the button on the scanner itself just defaults to one side. There may be a way to change that but I couldn’t figure it out. While in double sided mode, or single sided, the scanner was quick and efficient. It had good detail in resolution and colors within the scanned document as well. In my profession, having a good detailed scan makes my job a lot easier. One thing that would be nice is a wireless set up, but that’s not a make or break deal for me. Since this is a review for the Epson ES-200 Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review, I wanted to push it and I inadvertently caused a paper jam. I thought this was a typical problem to run across and see how it responds. The scanner will grab one page at a time. A folded piece of paper may cause issues when one half of the page gets grabbed and then the other half right behind it. The paper got stuck and in my efforts to unjam it, I tore a corner off the paper. The only way I could get it cleared was to turn off and on the scanner and do a quick scan with a good piece of paper to get it out. Overall, I love this scanner and I would recommend it. I put it through its paces and it held up well. It is a good space saving option that has good picture quality and scans quickly.

The Epson ES-200 is a remarkable scanner. The overall footprint of the scanner is small enough not only for business travelers to carry in their laptop bag, but also a good compliment for home users that don't want a cumbersome scanner on their desk. For me personally this is ideal as my home office desk these days is much smaller so real estate usage is important. The setup was a breeze too. Unpack, plug in power, plus in USB, open; it's ready. The installation of the macOS software was quick & easy. It updated things accordingly & was ready to start scanning documents. Upon opening the software, the scanner was poised & awaiting whatever I threw at it. Loading documents into the scanner is easy & the process of pulling each document through the scanner into your scan job is a no brainer. The quality of the documents scanned it great. My overall use of this scanner is going to definitely replace my usage of an older Lexmark all-in-one I have. There is even capability to scan business cards to allow for an easy importation into your contacts, which is a great extra feature to include into the overall functionality. Great scanner that has the functionality of larger, more expensive models.

This is a review for the Epson ES-200 Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I opened the scanner and found the cords necessary for installation, as well as a quick set up reference of how to hook up the scanner. In order to use the scanner, you have to obtain the software from the website. A users guide to the scanner was included in the download and appears as an icon on your desktop. No icon appeared on the desktop for the software. You will have to manually look for it. After downloading the software, it does ask you to download an update(what??I just installed it..why didn't it give me the latest version??) Oh well, it then requested me to download 6 additional items with the upgrade. I would have preferred for the software and manual be within the packaging, however, I appreciate it was available in the download. After setting up, the scanner is a great little thing. The compact size is great to have out when needed or fit within a laptop bag for portability. It is solid and about 4-5pounds. The speed and quality are amazing. I scanned different types, sizes, and lengths and found no issues. Minor tiny issues occurred; however, I believe it was due to lack of patiences or coffee on my part. Nothing major and easy to overcome. It can hold papers to scan as you do not have to wait and scan one document at a time. Quality product.

This is a great addition to any computer and it is mobile with a back up battery!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! DO NOT BUY! It scanned really well... the very first scan... then it did nothing but double feed. HORRIBLE PRODUCT!

Too confusing to set up. Drivers must be obtained on line and only some are there. I’m returning mine. Actual scanner made well

This scanner works great SOMETIMES...but not all the time. I think I'm probably too late to return it. Hopefully I can sell it on market place. I would HIGHLY suggest buying a Bluetooth/wireless one instead of a hardwired connection scanner.

I love the fact that it can process more than three sheets at a time.

This scanner has a small footprint and is solidly made. It sets up in 3 easy steps- open cover, plug in power, plug USB into computer. The windows software was an easy download and install. It updated right away. Scanning documents is a breeze. Bring up the software, place document face down in scanner and hit the scan button. The quality of the scans is phenomenal. Receipts can be a little tricky especially if wrinkled. It will even scan credit sized plastic cards. Great machine!
