I do a lot of document scanning and need one that Just Works... this is what one should say about their scanner... it Just works and keeps working and working when ever it's needed! I gave this 5 stars and it's my pleasure to review this item!

No WiFi or direct to network option which for this price range is expected. Uses usb 3.0 so large files scan fairly fast right to PC however no way to use device with phone/tablet so must always have a connected computer. Would recommend looking into brother device for more features unless you are constantly scanning in 50pages or more.
