    So far works great. I had to buy this after my Epson printer auto document feeder stopped working. I took a chance with this and so far haven't been disappointed. Only gripe would be not having a dedicated lan port, but it does have a USB port and wifi. I do think it's overpriced, but I think all scanners like this are overpriced.

    I bought this Epson 500W to replace my 7 years old Fujitsu scanner. It came very well protected in the packaging box. Installation and setup was a breeze. I connected it to a Mac and it was fully compatible with Catalina OS. That’s the reason I bought it for. Unlike my old Fujitsu, the Epson scanner is more clumsy and tends to jam documents that are wrinkled or have been previously folded.

    This is my 3rd scanner. My medical office uses this scanner the entire 8 hour day, 5 days a week. For the price, it is very reliable. The two previous ones seems to wear out at approximately 2 years of use. Both of them have issues with slipping feeder gears. For the price, you cannot get a better scanner. I recommend it none the less
