I initially enjoyed using the Epson mobile scanner, but I've come to realize that it was an unnecessary purchase. Since discovering the great scan to files options on Dropbox, the scanner has been sitting unused in the cabinet.

Was looking for a small scanner to use with my iPad. This one works

I've been using this product for a few months now and it works. The setup on my iMac was a bit clunky and failed more than even a few times even after being fully charged. If you're plugged directly into the computer then it scans immediately when the scan button is pressed, but when connected via WiFi there is a 3-5 second delay between scans. That might not seem like a lot, but it is quite annoying when trying to scan 10-20 things in a row. I essentially now always just plug it in directly now which makes spending extra for the WiFi enabled version pointless. Regarding plugging it into the computer it supposedly uses USB 2.0, but I've not been able to get any USB 2.0 cable to fit other than the one included in the box (tried about 10 different generic USB 2.0 cables). To summarize this is a very portable product, but if you're scanning more than few things on the go then I'd recommend not getting the WiFi enabled version and just carrying around the included USB 2.0 cable.

So small and compact. Works great. I love having controll of each scan. And post processing is handy.

It's the best to use such compact equipment, which you can take with you wherever you go and scan your docs.
