    First off, I didn't know what to expect from the scanner. I had never owned a portable scanner. First thing I noticed is the size. It is small and easy to pack with your laptop. It has a rechargeable battery and you don't have to plug it in, so can be used when you are traveling or stuck somewhere without a readily available plug. Also, it is fast. Very simple to use, just start your document and press the scan button. Less than 30 seconds later your document is on the computer screen. What I really like is you can save the document to multiple formats or just stick it in an email. Love this and would definitely recommend to a friend.

    sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There is no rhyme or reason to the occasions it does work. Not worth the money. Next time I will invest in something higher quality.

    The unboxing experience is pretty basic with your standard EPSON packaging. There is documentation inside, the scanner and a USB cable. The hardware looks great and is the perfect size for travel. As advertised, it utilized a wireless scanning feature in conjunction with the drivers on PC or the Epson DocumentScan app on mobile. This is extremely handy since my job keeps me on the road most days. With my old device I had to connect it to the laptop and scan it in in a very unwieldy way. With this new one, I can scan wirelessly straight to my cell phone and then upload straight to the cloud. The device will scan on mobile to JPEG or PDF format and allows you to preview your scan before saving. This is probably the most convenient work device I have came across yet. The device itself has a small LCD screen telling you battery status and connection status. It has a built-in battery so there is no need to plug it in to anything. I have been testing it with heavy use for three days and have had zero need to charge so far. The documents scan in at a very high quality 600 DPI and scans at a good speed. My only complaint is that there is no duplex scanning. In order to scan a two-sided document, you must flip it over. This is a minor inconvenience, but it can be an issue for some. The scanner will detect if you are connected via USB so it will not utilize the Wi-Fi in that situation. If you are a road warrior or travel around the country often, this is the scanner for you. If you are in an office or for home, use there might be better options for you that have a duplex option.

    This portable scanner just does wonders, it’s a versatile piece of technology that Epson has put together. The box includes connecting cable and a quick start guide to get along easily. Epson provides links to download its apps online known as EpsonScan. The Scanner needs the software to get started. The scanner is thin and very portable, significantly smaller and lighter weight (0.66lb) than any other scanners in the market. It is powered by either the USB connection or the internal USB-rechargeable battery and does not require an AC adapter. Its battery powered and micro USB rechargeable which works like a charm on all devices, the looks are elegant with a nice little LCD display and has a pro touch to itself. The scan quality is great and can be done through Wi-Fi/ wired methods which are really simple to follow. Functions like multiple pages scanning, single file output, easy conversion of scanned copies into desired format, rotation and deletion of individual pages are all included with this package. It has a power button which will do the job without any app access and comes with a slot to secure the scanner from theft. It can also scan business cards, Photo IDs which is a plus. It has a scan resolution up to 300dpi which is just okay for a scanned copy and it doesn't have an automatic document feeder which requires manual intervention every time a new page is loaded and it doesn't come with a memory card slot where the documents can directly be stored in rather than on a desktop app or a mobile app. Overall it’s an excellent piece of technology and very convenient. I am going with 5 star for this Epson Product for being the most portable scanner which is easy to use and is great enough to do the job. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-60W Wireless Portable Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    Maybe on computer it is better.....I do NOT recommend for the iPad. The app is horrible, you end up scanning every document multiple times and cannot select a specific folder to save the files into.

    This was my second try with this scanner from Epson. No matter what I did in following the installation instructions it would not connect with either my pc or laptop. If you are able to make this work, more power to you...but I won’t use Epson again....sorry.

    Versatile and Convenient!

    My husband and I are about to apply for a mortgage, so you can imagine how much paperwork is involved. With this lightweight scanner, I was able to actually bring the unit from one room to the next to scan his documents and mine. It runs on battery when you need it, so it's super versatile! Setup was extremely easy and took only a few minutes. The wireless/Bluetooth feature is also nice. This scanner is also extremely quiet and amazingly lightweight. I even used it scan our ID's and it was super easy. I was worried it wouldn't work properly, but the scanning feature made everything come out crystal clear and easy to read. It's also really easy to upload whatever you scan as a PDF file which is super helpfu. I work from home, too, so this scanner will be great to help me keep track of all my tax documents and other items. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who needs to scan something on the go, quickly, or who doesn't have a lot of office space. The compact size makes ideal for my little home office. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-60W Wireless Portable Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    I have tried and tried, called tech support who have pointed me to all sorts of web sites for software downloads, Nothing has worked. Very disappointed, wanted a simple, easy to use device to carry with me and this did not meet the requirements.

    Won't Sync with One Note

    Ended up returning this Epson scanner because I found the Doxie is able to sync with your One Note data and this Epson one would not sync with Microsoft.
