I could not get it to connect to an Android or Apple phone using the Epson apps (there are two). I followed the instructions, watched the online videos without success. I was finally able to connect it to an old iPad wirelessly and to a laptop via USB, but that wasn't what I needed. I must note that once it was connected to the laptop, it worked flawlessly. If you need a scanner to connect to your mobile device, then this is product not for you.

Software and driver issues

This is just the sort of software mis-match that is terribly vexing when it SHOULD be effortless. All the unplugging and replugging and closing and opening software does NOT make me as happy with this scanner.

Now I don't have to worry about where I'm going to take a signed document to get scanned back. Small so it stores easily.

It is fast, has not jammed so far. Software installation was easy. Efficient and convient!
