We bought for my husband to scan documents in for work, but I have used it for pictures as well. One picture was very old and on very thick paper, scanned with no problem.

Now I don't have to worry about where I'm going to take a signed document to get scanned back. Small so it stores easily.

The specs were misleading. Micro-USB cable for charging is not the best, and the recessed port makes it difficult to connect. Set-up was a bit tough too, but it still worked for simple tasks

It is fast, has not jammed so far. Software installation was easy. Efficient and convient!

Back to looking again.

I haven't tested color or photos but I would still recommend this product.
