I challenge you to go cartridge-less.....! I was an early adopter and have not looked back. Save time, money and stress! Thank you Epson! Spend the $$ upfront and save down the line....

I bought this printer in order to save on spending too many trips and money to buy toner or ink. It's saved me a lot. Could certainly be faster, but it's not a major issue for me.

Excellent ink jet Printer for a business. Ink doesn't dry up. I purchased this one based on another Epson printer I used for more than a year. No issues with both the printers.

I had doubts after reading some reviews but bought anyways. The printer is loud and sounds cheap, read this in another review. It is, but in the settings you can check quiet mode and it sounds like a more quality computer. The complaint about print quality is valid the default setting standard is like draft on most computers. If you change the setting to standard vivid the print quality is more like a normal printer. It always defaults to standard, this computers draft setting is a joke it is so light. I assume the printer standard setting which is like draft on most computers is how it gets it high page count. It was easy to connect to the computer it is being used wirelessly. I chose to download the software instead of using the disc provided. It updates the firmware automatically. The other complaint I read was the mess when pouring the ink, not true or this people have problems pouring milk into a glass too. After filling the ink chambers I had to small ink dot on my finger and none spilled outside the printer chamber. The other thing I read was it only works on a 2.4ghz wireless system that is true, but it also says that in the quick setup instructions which are easy to read. I would have given this printer a 5 star rating if it defaults in Standard Vivid as that is true to what other printers standard mode is. and if it defaulted in the quiet mode. I don't know why the have the default noisy and the check box quiet mode. Maybe they can change those default in a printer firmware update.

The Epson ET-4550 is a great investment for the future. Thanks so much for thinking of us who do a lot of work and printing from home.

Not your lowest cost printer but if you consider all the cartridges you would be purchasing in the long run - you save a ton of money.

I purchased this for our church. They had problems changing the powder in their laser printer and wanted something else. This uses liquid ink and I cannot guarantee it is better. When printing two-sided pages, it is very slow and time consuming. You cannot move the printer because of the liquid ink and the ink wells do not come off the printer. So no moving of the printer...ever unless you empty the ink wells. Disappointing.

Purchased this for our shop office and it works better then all of the other printers and the printer cost more due to the type of refill cartridges but the performance is worth it.

We have android and iOS phones and tablets and PC's. Can easily launch prints from any device. Faster than my last inkjet. Good print quality.

I love not having to worry about ink cartridges! It is about time printers started going away from those. Besides that part this is a wonderful all around printer

This is really good printer, its worth price coz no need to buy ink cartridge when u have ecotank , buy geek protection if u want! Happy with purchase !

This is great printer! The fact that you no longer need to deal with old style ink refills is a huge bonus. Easy setup and the print quality is good for the price.

This printer is awesome! I work in the real estate industry, and I was constantly buying ink cartridges. This has saved me!

This definitely has been a good investment! It was a chunk to spend for a printer, but considering the total lifetime costs put into a printer, it is well worth it.

I don't do a lot of color printing and am constantly bothered when my under used inkjet cartridges dry out before I even use them. Will see how this process holds up

I waited for this printer to drop in price and have the trade in program by Epson and best buy.... And it happened... I jump on this deal... worth the money....

I highly recommend the EcoTank printer. It is much cheaper per copy over the long run and the quality of the printed page is good.

Great print resolution. On-screen menu could be improved as it is not intuitive.
