Set-up was a bit challenging for someone of a certain age who may be accustomed to just plug in, run disk, and go.

Had some learning experiences with scanning but finally figured it out. like it so far. Problem with printers is they don't last long for me. I think the manufacturers build them that way. HP and Epson. BTW.. I don't have a photo of the printer. Nor do I have a smart phone to take a photo.

Seems I struggle more with the new one. Why? (1) BIGGEST issue is the ability to easily use less ink. 95% of the time, I don't need to waste ink. I struggle changing the settings to print lighter, which I blame on their software. (2) I try to print different types of files and run into some road block, that I should easily be able to fix, but struggle. Again, I blame the software. (3) I will say no problems with copy or scan. I should've be able to easily give a 5-star rating, but if I struggle with basic issues, it doesn't meet my simple standards.

Good features at a decent price.

I still have not been able to set up the scan feature (2 weeks)- have not even tried to set up the fax feature yet ! Will have to call Epson Tech Support to resolve the set up issues.

He spent a lot of his time with us making us feel very empowered with our decision to choose this particular model. Getting knowledge of printer ink cost for different models was great too!

Started not printing correctly after a year and couldn’t find the printer cartridges at a retail store. Glad I bought the Extended Warranty. I tried finding a new EPSON printer so I could use the printer cartridges on a new printer but as usual they don’t fit any new printers. It seems like printer companies do this so you have to buy a new printer every time something goes wrong.
