The software seems to help control the scanner and fax but very little control over the printer. My biggest complaint is the there seems to be no way to change the print quality. The color print quality is very poor. Tried replacing the print cartridges ($78 for set of xl cartridges) and this did not help the color print quality. The Epson print guide directs you to run the print maintenance (align and clean print heads) in order to improve quality. We've done this several times and the quality is still poor. Cartridges are difficult to find and we had to order them online. The price for the printer was low but the cartridges are expensive. We do not recommend this printer and will be returning it.
