    I have had this printer for just over a year, it has a lifetime page count of 121 and yet somehow all of my ink cartridges are depleted. I paid nearly $100 for the printer and have spent over $100 in ink but I still can't print a basic document. I am currently unable to print in black because the cyan cartridge is depleted. Better still the black cartridge that is less than six months old and has printed less than 30 pages yet is magically almost empty somehow. I bought this printer because of its size but it is, without a doubt, the single worst printer I have ever owned. I'm going to buy another Canon printer like I should have from the start and will never even consider Epson again.

    Difficult to switch from letter to envelopes

    Difficult to switch from letter to envelopes. Have to remove paper and reset guides from letter to #10 envelop and then reset go thru 2-3 steps to complete process. Same when going back letter.

    Buyer Beware

    Recently I bought a new black ink cartridge after it ran out. My color cartridges were running low too but I wanted to hold off on replacing them because I didn't want to drop a bunch of money on ink and I mostly just need to print in black and white anyway. I replaced the black ink cartridge which is pretty straightforward. I went to print a document but kept getting an error message saying that I need to replace the colored ink cartridges. Seemed strange to get this error message given I just replaced the black ink and I'm trying to print in black and white. I tried troubleshooting but couldn't get past the error message. I called customer care and they told me that the printer is designed to only function if all cartridges are full. So I have a full black ink cartridge that I can't use unless I replace colored ink that I don't need!! First of all this major drawback is not advertised in the product description. Really feels like a shady way to upsell some ink cartridges. Not sure if Epson does this on all of their printers, but I'll be avoiding their products either way.

    Problems with wireless printing

    Bought this printer and spent 2 days trying to set this up...after multiple installs/uninstalls and updating to newest version of Windows ( per tech support who assured me this would solve any problems!) I ended up spending frustrating hours only to end up with a printer that printed one page in black and white sent from my computer in 6 MINUTES! Epson support conclusion was it was my internet connection and sent me on my way..even though they had checked the wi fi connection and found NO issues! Returned this printer , bought a new HP and was up and printing flawlessly in about 10 minutes..no wireless issues at all! Would definitely NOT recommend this printer!!

    Very difficult to get the wireless scanning working and to keep the printer on the wireless signal. 3 calls to tech and finally appears to be working. Setup was connected to IMac desktop.
