Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This printer was worse than an HP printer I had for 10 years, meaning I expected better from a recent made technology product. It got the job done for word documents but forget it using it for photos or color use. The quality of photos is pretty much shearing quality, useless. It lasted me two years before it went completely out, started printing stricks, then it didn't recognize the ink until it began to print almost blank pages with brand new cartridges. I wasted a lot of money on this machine. It went completely out the month my geek squad plan expired, go figure. I know printers don't last long but 2 years is pretty bad considering I used it maybe only twice per week for a few sheets, some weeks I didn't use it at all. I will never considering buying an Epson Product again after this experience.

Not as good as Canon

I will not buy a product that the maker tries to manipulate my later purchases. Do not buy unless you want only to buy overpriced Epson cartridges, also I cannot print at all now that one cartridge is empty, it wont allow me to use only black ink! Very unhappy with this purchase.

Posted .Hello outnkaty, the Epson WF-3720 is designed to use only genuine Epson-brand ink cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. Epson provides information about the design of the printer on the box, as well as many other locations, including materials shipped with the printer.
