Terrible!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a very cheap Brother printer and scanner that after many years of flawless service, finally gave out. Thought I would upgrade and bought this. My cheap little printer broken, worked better than this one. It runs out of ink almost instantly. I cannot get it to easily scan a document to my email, and I have issues every time I try to scan to my desktop instead. I have spent a good amount of time trying to trouble shoot on my own before calling Epson. They were no help at all. I'm about ready to set this thing on fire.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think I spent more money for the ink than the printer, but this is my second printer (same one) and I continue he having problems with it since I don’t use it daily.

Worst printer I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constant printer, scanner errors and paper jams not long after purchase. No matter what paper type or weight used. Had a previous Epson NX430 that ran flawlessly for years so I thought I'd update. Biggest mistake I made. Epson quality is non existent now. Finally had to toss it after the warranty ended. Would have given it a zero star if possible.

Runs out of ink way too fast
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Goes though ink way too fast. I figured it costs me about $2 a page to print black and white in ink. Color is more expensive.

Worth it for the ink, if you get it on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked. I bought it on sale, thinking that it would work half as good as my canon. Nope. So I paid for the ink, then gave the printer away at the end of it.

Worst Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this has been one of the worst purchases I have experienced. The printer will NOT stay connected more than 1 day at a time. I have called Epson at least three different times to get the printer back connected. I have 3 Macs that are wi-fi set up to this printer but again, it refuses to stay connected for more than 1 day at a time and you cannot figure out for yourself how to reconnect it. I will never buy another Epson product. I really want to return this because it is one month old :-(. Huge disappointment.

Did not make the grade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fragile and poor performance. After less than 50 days, I started to have issues related to overall performance and ink replacement. The device keeps wanting updates more than it should. Take up too much space. Got replacement from manufacture - upson. Will see how this goes...

Dissapointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a great printer. Have purchased several Epson printers in the past and this one is by FAR the worst print quality of any. Inconsistent printing, calibration problems.... you name it. Avoid this one.

Epson.. Never ever again!!!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer/scanner is absolute junk. The scanner function double feeds and skips pages. Dont use a lot of color printing? This printer is definitely not for you. I have purchased all ink colors twice just to print black and white bc it will only let you bypass the "low ink" twice before completely quitting. Even with a new black ink cartridge. Save the headaches and money on the ink and get something more reliable from another brand. the 3820 is just as awful.

Paper feed malfunctions constantly
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an Epson all in one printer for years. It was great. This Workforce Pro WF 3720 is terrible. The scanner is hard to use. The paper feed grabs more than one sheet almost every time I print and wastes paper. I would never buy an Epson product again. I am going to replace this as soon as I can. Don't buy this printer!

Great printer, OK scanner, but where's the ink?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Canon printers in my home office for several years. I wasn't very pleased with the last one I had, so when it gave up the ghost, I decided to try a different brand. I bought the Epson WF-3720 based on the reviews here. Setup of the printer was easy. I had no problems connecting it to my home WIFI network. I was quite surprised with the quality of printed text. I print a lot of spreadsheets using small fonts and they look crisp. It prints the columns straight (my last printer produced crooked columns.) Most of my printing is grayscale, but the color text I have produced looks good, too. I have not used it for printing graphics. The output "tray" is not really a tray. It's a 3x5-inch piece of plastic that you slide out, with another 3x4-inch wide piece of plastic that folds out from the first piece. Because I usually print on legal paper (which is 14 inches long), I thought there was no way that little "tray" would hold it. I was surprised, but it holds at least 35 sheets, even though the pages look precariously perched on it. A minor complaint - if you load a different sized paper in the printer, then try to print your document, you have to physically go to the printer to respond to a prompt that a different sized paper is being requested and then push a button on the printer to let it know you've installed the paper. It's an extra step in the process. I suppose I could just send the document to the printer before I load the paper, but that would require changing a long-ingrained habit. (Yikes!) The scanner does a decent job, but I sometimes have to scan documents that were printed from poor quality microfilm images, with black pages and white text. The scanner did not handle those as well as my previous printer's scanner. The text is not sharp enough. I assume (and hope) that the ink cartridges that came with the printer were filled with just enough ink to print 100-200 pages of text, because after 1 day of heavy use I was out of black ink, with low-ink warnings on two colors. I had ordered ink from Amazon but it was not in stock and would take a few days to arrive. My local Best Buy did not have any black ink. I had to go to 5 more stores before I could find any. I was not aware that it would be so difficult to find ink. It's hard to find it in stock on the Epson website and Best Buy's website promises delivery to the store within 6 days. I have to make sure I have a backup supply on hand. Since I rely heavily on my printer for work, I've had to spend more money up front to keep enough ink on hand. If I had not needed the printer in a hurry, I would have spent more time researching printers. The next time I need a printer, I'll have to remember to check on availability of ink. I think it's an excellent printer for the price, but the difficulty in finding ink has dampened my enthusiasm for it. Perhaps an Epson Eco-Tank printer would have been better for me. They're more expensive up front but you get a lot of ink.

Cheap and uses too much ink
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a cheap printer that isn’t worth the price. Especially, when the inks runs out within days. I will stick with Canon and not buy Epson again.

Replacing an old Epson printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry to say very disappointed. Bought one had to take it back scanning feature was messed up. Error message kept showing up. Scanner had not been used. Took this one back thought it could have been a bad printer. Sad to say the second one did the same thing. Loved my old Epson printer. Went with a different brand

Disappearing Ink!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even just looking at this printer causes the ink levels to go down. I've had this for 6 months and have already had to replace the ink cartridges multiple times... and I barely ever print anything! And when I just earlier today replaced the cyan and yellow cartridges, I noticed that the black and yellow levels went down by almost a third!

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may have received a dud but the upon further research of this printer I should've never bought it. My wife needed a printer to work from home and while this was functioning perfectly it died less than 3 weeks of is having it. First it was error code 000044 then 000041. I tried every fix I found online and nothing. It just makes a sound like it has a dead motor.

Buy a different printer!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this printer for ten months, I feel as though I am now able to give an accurate review. It is terrible. It often pulls the paper through incorrectly, thus rendering the paper and ink wasted. It also uses a ridiculous amount of ink. The ink cartridges are not cheap and they do not last very long, even the so-called XL cartridges. Very disappointed with this printer and will never purchase an Epson again.
