This is my first Epson printer and k It's suitable for home use and small offices. Still, there's nothing small in the printer's features. Black and white printing is rated at 20 pages per minute (10 ppm in color). Part of the printer's height is consumed by a 250-sheet paper drawer that holds letter or legal-size sheets - and the 35-page auto document feeder on top handles two-sided copying (two-sided printing is automatic). Standard-capacity black ink cartridges are rated at 350 pages (300 pages color) and the high-capacity XL ones yield 1,100 pages for black ink and 950 pages in CMY. Setting up the WF-3720 was uneventful and fast. After inserting the four cartridges, the printer takes about five minutes to initialize. Other basic steps such as setting time and fax options are done through the intuitive 2.7-inch color touch screen. On plain paper this is quite a quick printer, managing 19.2 A4 pages per minute (ppm) on our mono text test, and a decent 5.6ppm on our more complex colour graphics test. Overall, using the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 was trouble-free. The features, hardware engineering, and software exhibited a lot of thought. Just a bit of background I already have the Epson WF-3520 and love it. The WF-3720 is a clear upgrade. First off the design is much more aesthetically pleasing compared to the previous model. The touch screen has been updated and is extremely responsive. The unpacking and initial setup was a breeze as long as you follow the quick setup guide. I was able to do all this without a computer and had printer capabilities in about 10 minutes. What Epson does perfect is it cloud print capabilities. There is perfect integration with Iphone and Ipads without any additional setup (as long as it is on the same WiFi network). Google cloud print is easy to set up and also works flawlessly. Finally if neither of these is your cup of tea there is the Epson connect print function. No matter what you do not need to be next to the printer to get your job printed. The quality of the printing is as good as any other basic all in one printer. This is not meant to print photos or high quality images but for an all-in-one for a home work office or general home printer with many users it is perfect. The new Epson WorkForce WF 3720 is designed to produce laser-sharp text and professional-quality color documents at fast speeds. This printer is state of the art and prints beautiful prints. I use the Epson app to print documents from my phone and Windows, Chrome to print from my computer. The sharpness, image quality is amazing. Prints take about 20 seconds to print, even for full color photos. This printer also is NOT loud when it prints like other printers we have had in the past. Setting up the WF-3720 was uneventful and fast. After inserting the four cartridges, the printer takes about five minutes to initialize. Other basic steps such as setting time and fax options are done through the intuitive 2.7-inch color touch screen. I used the printer connected via Ethernet cable and printed to it from Wifi and Ethernet. I would recommend this printer to anyone that is interested in having fast, beautiful prints without any of the trouble. Overall, using the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 was trouble-free. I couldn’t imagine using any other printer for my business and personal use. Great replacement for my Canon printer

I switched to the Epson WF-3720 from the Canon Pixma MX350. The first thing I noticed was the form factor. The Epson fits really well in my home office because it is not as wide or deep as the Canon. It is taller than my older printer, but this works out well as far as space in my office goes. Setup is super easy. I followed the quick start instructions, and downloaded the drivers from epson.com as instructed and everything just worked seamlessly. I really love the ability to print from my iPhone out of the box. I didn't have to download any apps or perform any further setup. This printer (as most printers do these days) comes with a copier, fax and scanner, which are important for my office. The scanner is easy to use, and again, I did not have to install any extra software - unlike my Canon, which did require another download and setup for the scanner. Print quality is great - both photos and documents are printed with ease and look great. Great MFP

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Summary: The installation of this printer was quick and easy. The printer was packaged in a way that made it extremely easy to remove from box- whoever thought of the plastic bag with the handles to lift the printer out of the box deserves a raise. The printer takes up much less desk space than other MFP devices. Printing was tested on Windows 10 and i0S and both went off without any issues. There were no issues installing the drivers or software needed to make the printer function. This printer is faster than most MFPs and has an overall excellent print quality. I am a huge fan of the fact that you can email documents directly to the printer with zero delay, regardless of where you are at (you do not have to be home or attached to the same wireless network). In my honest opinion, this is a great option for a MFP and I would recommend it to others. Setup: As mentioned above, the MFP was easy to remove from the box as it comes pre-packaged in a plastic bag with handles, making it easy to lift out of the box. The entire printer is secured in the box, so be prepared to spend some time unpackaging and untaping everything, but it will be worth it in the long run when you have a good quality printer that works well. Menus are easy to walk through and set preferences on everything. As I said, just be prepared to spend some time getting everything set up because although it is easy, it is a long, slow and drawn out process to set up. Scan: Scanning was easy. You have the option to scan using the ADF or the flatbed. However, you are unable to scan duplex from the ADF like you can when printing from there. You have multiple dpi options in driver settings. Overall, the scanning feature functions like you would expect and hope a MFP scanner to function. Print: I was shocked by how fast this printer actually prints. There were no smeared ink spots- only clear, concise typeset. You also have the ability to print duplex or single-sided. I also like the fact that I can have this printer set up on my work computer and can access it, even while I’m connected to my VPN. Previously, I have not had much success in attaching to outside printers while connected to the VPN, so this was a plus in my book. I haven’t printed any photos yet, but given the quality of the images, I can’t wait to give that a try soon. I love the fact that this printer is a wifi printer and that I didn’t have to do anything to set it up on my phone- it was readily available to print without me having to download anything extra on my phone. Final Thoughts: This printer is an excellent printer for the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper, high quality MFP for home use. At this point, I couldn’t be happier to own this product- its great thus far. Good AIO Printer for any Home or Small Business

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I haven't had a home scanner/printer/all-in-one for quite some time (last one came with my Dell computer in 2004, so technology has certainly advanced since then). I have had this AIO for about 2 weeks, and have used it a several times so far. It may sound a little silly, but the packaging was excellent--the box had the usual corner/side styrofoam protection on top, but the printer itself was contained in a plastic bag with handles, which made removing it from the box by myself simple and easy to move to its final setup location. Setup was fairly simple. Plug it in to power, and power on. Installing the ink cartridges is simple enough, though the included cartridges do not appear to hold much ink. The touchscreen made connecting to my wireless network easy. From there I was able to quickly adjust settings from the touchscreen, as well as from a phone or computer by dialing into the local IP address. This whole process was fairly intuitive and easy. The WF-3720 has built in access to Epson and Google's cloud print services. The process of activating these was less simple, but I figured it out fairly quickly. Google Cloud Print appeared to need a laptop or desktop to set up correctly, and not a cell phone. Once that was done, however, it was a snap to print from my phone or laptop to the printer, no matter where in the world I had a signal. I recently was able to send a file from my phone to print, while I was still at work. The printer was offline, but as soon as I turned it back on, out came the file. Similar to Google Cloud Print is Epson's own cloud service, which auto printed instructions to assist with set up, and then printed a confirmation when completed. Among other things, this creates an email address specifically for the printer to which files may be emailed. Print Quality for black and white is excellent. Text is crisp. Printing is incredibly quick. If you don't extend the output tray, the paper will fly partway across the room! Print quality for making an 8x10 photo output was at best fair, and not impressive, though I used only regular paper. It may produce better photo output under different circumstances, but I have not checked this yet. Scanner function was easy to use and send images to my computer. I have not yet tried the included scanner software from Epson, however. Overall, the Workforce Pro WF-3720 is a great device, that works well, and does it easily without much fuss from the user. I would recommend this all-in-one device for most home or small business users. Good Like a Cup of Black Coffee

When I was studying history a few years ago while earning my bachelors I was required to read a book about all the substances that we as humans have been addicted to over the last few contraries. It was convicting as I read the chapter about coffee with a massive cup of the darkest brew possible in hand. But thankfully as an avid reader and scientists I have read about the benefits of coffee and have drawn my own conclusions about how to manage caffeine. I share this story to show that as a thinker I am always questioning the validity of information. Simply because it is written does not mean it is true. This printer is a like that beautiful cup of coffee. It has depth and character. Lets get real, if you just want a caffeine fix there is countless options from instant coffee, energy shots or even pills. While these get the job done, there is not that deep satisfaction. This printer has the robust characteristics that make it valuable to students like myself. I am a first year medical student and the amount of printing I will be doing in the next few months is terrifying. But it is not just printing it is also the other features of this quality printer that make it my constant companion. Sometimes as a student we learn to live on the cheapest options out there. Honestly, as I began shopping for a printer I did look at all of the cheap printers on amazon. But as I began reading I realized that most likely they would not survive through all four years of med school. Knowing when to invest in something and when to take the less expensive option is vital. This printer is not the least expensive. But, friends; lets consider the math. If we buy a $35 printer if we are lucky it will last us one aggressive year of printing. So then we will spend another $35 next year. It is an endless cycle. This printer is an investment. But is a wise choice. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

The WF-3720 has lots of features in a compact form. Output quality is above average and it has many connectivity choices. The initial cost is low and usage cost is competitive. It was very easy to setup, and I was able to print directly from my mobile phone and tablet. Overall, I would recommend it for someone looking for a multifunction printer for a small workgroup or home office. Pros: USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC connectivity. Very fast printing. Small footprint. Cloud printing. Auto Document Feeder. Cons: Paper capacity is fair. Photo printing is not great. The new Epson WorkForce Pro InkJet All-in-One printers are designed to produce laser-sharp text and professional-quality color documents at fast speeds – and are said to be more economical to operate compared to color laser printers in the same price range. The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 ($149 list) that I reviewed is the most compact unit in the group at 9.8-inches high and weighing about 20 pounds. It’s suitable for home use and small offices. Still, there’s nothing small in the printer’s features. Black and white printing is rated at 20 pages per minute (10 ppm in color). Part of the printer’s height is consumed by a 250-sheet paper drawer that holds letter or legal-size sheets – and the 35-page auto document feeder on top handles two-sided copying (two-sided printing is automatic). Standard-capacity black ink cartridges are rated at 350 pages (300 pages color) and the high-capacity XL ones yield 1,100 pages for black ink and 950 pages in CMY. I didn’t run out of ink during the testing, but after looking at the remaining-ink gauges I believe Epson’s estimates are accurate. Setting up the WF-3720 was uneventful and fast. After inserting the four cartridges, the printer takes about five minutes to initialize. Other basic steps such as setting time and fax options are done through the intuitive 2.7-inch color touch screen. I used the printer connected via Wired Ethernet; other options are high-speed USB, Wireless, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC. In my case, the printer automatically picked up an unused IP address. Then, when I ran the setup software on my Windows 10 PC, the printer was seen on the network, drivers installed, and automatically added to the list of available printers. Since the printer was relatively new, the setup routine also automatically downloaded and installed revised firmware. The Epson Connect Software (optionally installed during setup) includes many ways to print and scan. For example, you can email files to a unique email address for printing. Or you might scan files to an online cloud account (Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive). I tested with my Google Drive and OneDrive accounts without any problems. For mobile users, the printer supports Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. During testing, I printed from my iPad and iPhone through my Wi-Fi network; under iOS 10, the WF-3720 appeared as a printer option and various document types printed without any issue. For day-to-day use, I typically printed from a Windows application, such as Microsoft Outlook or PowerPoint; the Print dialog give you easy control over all the printer’s properties, including quality, color, and paper type. The print quality and speed certainly matched my Dell desktop laser. For a more demanding test, I printed some color images from Adobe Photoshop on Epson glossy photo paper. I believe for all but the most discerning eye, the photo print quality matched my seven-ink color photo printer. I was especially pleased that I got those great results by allowing the printer to manage the colors – there was no need to create a custom printer color profile. There are many other features that probably won’t surface until you need them, such as scanning to or printing directly from an attached USB drive – or a litany of Fax options (60 speed dial numbers, Fax to email). Overall, using the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 was trouble-free. The features, hardware engineering, and software exhibited a lot of thought. The only thing to be mindful of, as with any inkjet printer, is the cost of consumables. Currently, the high-capacity set retails for about $72 and the individual standard ones are $13. The prices may be justified because of the special pigment ink Epson uses along with the print heads that release various-size very small ink droplets – to achieve the quality this printer delivers. Great Printer with Laser Quality Prints!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

When I received the printer, I had to get my dad to bring it inside, because it was a little heavy. I also had to get him to take it out of the box for me. Once it was out of the box, I grabbed the quick start guide and started reading the instructions. I removed all the blue tape from the printer. There was a lot of blue tape, but I'm happy that there was a lot of blue tape, because that lets me know that all the pieces that are susceptible to breaking were being protected. After I finished doing all of that, I went to install the ink cartridges. I didn't know where the ink cartridges were when I first took the printer out of the box, but I finally found them after I moved the bag that the power cord was in, the ink cartridges were under the sheet fed scanner tray. Maybe they need to be moved next to the power cord bag so they're more visible. I liked that each cartridge was packaged in a sturdy plastic bag that ink couldn't seep out of. I placed the ink cartridges in the printer without any problems. I like that I didn't have to apply any pressure to them like I did with the ink in my Brother printer. The ink installed successfully and then I put the paper in the paper try and that was super easy to do. I skipped setting up the fax, because I didn't want to fuss with having to unhook the phone line from my Brother printer and connecting it to the Epson printer. I will definitely set up the fax at a later time. The last part of the printer installation is the longest part, which is the software installation. I liked that the printer came with a cd, but if you still have software updates during the cd software installation, then maybe just getting the software directly from the website would be best. If you don't have access to internet while installing the printer, then the software cd does come in handy. It took me some minutes to install the software and sign up for this and register for that, but after I got through that everything was working well. I didn't have to touch the manual that came with the printer one time, the quick start guide told me everything I needed to know about installing the printer and that was a good thing. I printed some documents out and the print quality was excellent, it reminded me of when I saw HP LaserJet or Tektronix Phaser prints for the first time and how crisp and clear they looked. I'm really happy to have a printer that can produce that quality of prints. I think I'm going to love Epson Connect. I tested it out and sent an email to my printer and it actually printed it out. I'm going to give family members my printer's email addres so they can print out stuff on my printer and pick it up when they come by to visit. The only thing I think could be changed on the printer is the size of lcd panel. I think it would make things a little bit easier to click on, if the screen was a little bit bigger, which would make the buttons a little bigger on the screen. I thought I had to firmly push on the lcd panel like I do with my Brother printer and I kept wondering why the buttons I pushed wasn't registering with the printer and then I realized that I didn't have to do that, just a light touch to each button does the trick. I could go on and on about this printer, but I hope I gave you all enough information about this printer that will make your decision to buy this printer a little easier. This is a sturdy inkjet printer that will give you laser quality prints that will make you smile and make you feel confident that you're giving someone a print or document that looks great every time. I would recommend my family members, friends, and anyone to check it out. Overall, this printer is fairly good. Setup was straightforward, and it connected to my wifi without any issues. I don't have a cd drive on my laptop, so I was glad that the Windows 10 drivers installed automatically. I did have to search a bit for the Epson software on their website though, which was a little bit of a pain. While everything was installing on my laptop, I downloaded and installed the android app. Print quality is decent, but I don't think anyone would confuse it for a print-out from my color laser printer, like the box advertises. The print speed also lagged the advertised rate, but I think most printers exagerate their print speed anyways. The double-sided printing comes in handy when I'm just printing a rough draft, but I find the words bleed through too much on regular paper for double-side printing to be used for anything professional. For scanning, the automatic document feeder comes in quite handy. I had one on a printer a few years ago, but may most recent inkjet lacked that feature --- it's nice to have it back. Scanning directly to Google drive is fairly easy, but I think it's more of a novel feature than a must-have. I really like this printer so far. So far so good. Our HP printer finally died after a few good years, and we were worried about finding a decent one. If anyone is looking for a new , basic printer, I recommend this one. It’s user-friendly, sleek, affordable, and sophisticated. The software is easy to download and has many steps that will help you make the most out of your printer. The ink is reasonably priced and doesn’t seem to be used up too quickly. Again, I highly recommend this printer.

I really liked this all in one printer. It was very easy to set up. Did not have any connection issues with the wifi. And had a very clean nice print. And was very fast. If you are looking for a product that you can print from any device, need a lot of stuff printed without jeopardizing the print quality. Then this printer is for you. I have owned a wifi printer in the past but I have never had a use for that feature. This all changed when I received the EPSON WorkForce Pro WF-3720. I was in need for a new printer after the ink dried up in the heads of my old printer and this one fills my needs greatly. Setup of this printer is really simple. When you open the box you only have the printer, the ink cartridges and the power cable to deal with.( if you are going to use this printer wired make sure you purchase a USB cable). After I plugged everything in and powered on the printer (make sure that you hold down the power button until the blue light comes on) I only had to insert the cartridges and the printer was ready for my configurations. I plan to use this printer wirelessly and the setup for that was a breeze. I just had to go into the printer menu and select the scan for wireless networks setting and connect to my network. After that I just had to install the software on my machines and we were up and printing in less that 20 minutes. I forgot to mention that all of the settings on this printer are touchscreen enabled. It really is a breeze with this feature. Also I love that this printer can print on both sides of the paper. That saves us money when our son prints out his school work or other projects. Other features that I love about this printer is the large paper tray. It saves you from having to keep getting up to add more paper. The print quality of the printer is excellent. Also scans and copies look great when using this printer. If you are looking for a printer that will last you a long time and is great performing this one is for you. The Workforce Pro WF-3720 is a workhorse that is perfect any home office user and features true all-in-one capabilities with a tone of features and cross device compatibility. After owning several multi-function printers over the years that I didn't care for I decided it was time to upgrade to something a little more robust for my home office use. Unfortunately these days it is harder and hard to find something with full fax capabilities, so I was pleased to see Epson still offering a few options. The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 offers the same capabilities that printers from the other big guys does, it just adds on the full featured on-board fax that I had to have! Setup is quick and easy, the menus are very intuitive and easy to use. The touch screen is responsive and moves through options quickly and easily. The foot print is a little on the big side and the printer is a bit heavier than some I've used, but for a home office printer that I need to stand-up to loads of printing I think it is acceptable. The printer uses Epson T702 carts that have a great price and the XL option for more savings. Being individual carts also helps save some money down the line. Epson promises near laser clarity without the cost, and from what I see the prints are great quality with vibrant ink colors. The printer is compatible with almost any devices you can throw at it, and of course works well with Epson's Android app. The app itself is a must have for me, as I print a lot from my phone and tablet and it gives you more control and added features. I'm your typical tech/geek guy. I love new technology and trying the latest and greatest. Except when it comes to printers... I just need something that works and doesn't cost a fortune. The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 fit my needs. I came from a wifi mono laser printer. The printer kept falling off the network, so it's time was done. I choose the WorkForce Pro WF-3720 for it clam of better than laser performance. My past experience with inkjets were not good, poor quality and frustrating ink experiences. The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 had none of these issues. The prints were beautiful, even on plain white paper the colors were vibrant and photo like. When looking at the prints you think they were from a photo lab, or a very expensive printer. I can't say enough how impressed I am with the quality. Feature wise The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 has about every option you can think of to scan a document... email, network share, dropbox, onedrive, box, fax.... you name the cloud service The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 most likely supports it. I was surprised how easy it was to setup using Epson cloud service. You can even print using the Epson cloud service or Google Print. These features were a nice bonus to an already great printer, and something I see using. My only complaint is the ink seems to go fast. I'm not sure if they give you a starter pack of ink, but after 3 high quality full screen prints the ink level is reporting 80% full. I hope that when it runs out and I have to buy more the new cartage last longer. Time will tell. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer When I first received this printer I made sure that I would not make any assumptions bad or good. The printer is actually lighter than I expected. Set up was quick and easy over my home wireless network, I used the 2.4 GHz network; connecting to my Netgear Router to allowing access from the many items on my network. Laptops. There are 4 ink cartridges to install: Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black. Print quality for black and white and color pictures and text is good. I have not had any issues with network drops and Air-Print from IOS 10 works well. So my experience has been good so far with this printer. It will be interesting to see how long the printer cartridges last for - always the most expensive part of printing and how well this printer continues to perform in a year. Overall definitely no complaints so far. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Overall a great combination inkjet printer, copier, fax, scanner. I set it up on Windows 10 and Mac Sierra and it was instantly recognized and all the drivers, including scanner and fax, installed automatically. Wired setup is as easy as plugging it in, but WiFi setup from the front panel is like WiFi setup on a smartphone. Double sided printing is controlled from the driver and print setup, making it easier to turn on and off per job than my HP225dw. Print quality and speed are worthy of a more expensive printer, with bright ink colors at 4800 x 2400dpi. There’s no need to do printhead alignments or cleaning. Economical at about 2c/page B&W and 5c/page color. It uses Epson Connect for remote printing. You can just email a PDF to the printer from anywhere and it will print. AirPrint from iPad and iPhone both worked out of the box. Once it’s on the network, configuring it from its internal web setup is reasonably intuitive. Nicely, it’s possible to update the firmware directly from the printer, without having to use another PC or Mac to do the transfer or update. Scanning is limited to 600 dpi, and only to PDF, JPG, and sometimes TIF formats. The Fax can be tuned to work on slow or noisy phone lines. Great for a student who needs to do lots of things, but not in large volume… it checks all the multifunction boxes. The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 is a very nice, compact All-in-one printer. The price is a great value and the size, style, and features are above average. The wi-fi setup was very easy and fast. It was also a breeze to set this up to print with my Android phone as well as adding it to my Google Cloud print. I didn’t realize what I was missing before by not having the wi-fi / cloud printing features. Another great feature is the ability to scan a document directory to another device using the touchscreen, or the utility installed. I am also very impressed by the quality, usability, and responsiveness of the touch screen. Typically I wouldn’t expect much from a touch screen on a printer, but this one is as smooth and easy to use as a quality mobile device. The navigation is simple, and only takes a swipe and a couple-clicks to access the functions and settings that you want. The print quality is excellent, and the speed is fast for an inkjet. The cartridges are small, light, and easy to replace. Overall, this is a great value for anyone looking for a quality, inexpensive, all-in-one device.
