Good Printer with Great Epson Services
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this multifunction machine for a few weeks now. It replaced an Epson Artisan 730 which had worn out rollers. I print a lot of pictures and was a little worried that the pictures would not look as good on this machine because it did not have light cyan or light magenta. I was pleasantly surprised that the color and quality on my printed photos was similar to the Artisan. The printer is pretty fast for an ink jet. A plain black and white page spits out in a few seconds and full color photos don’t take much longer. My wife and I really like the print to email function which is an Epson service that comes with the printer. It allows us to print to the printer no matter where we are or what device we are using. We are able to print from our phones with the feature even when we are not at home. With the high capacity cartridges full color pages cost only about 12 cents each, and black and white are only 3 cents. The WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer is a pretty good printer but Epson’s extra free services are what make it really great. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Easy Setup & High Quality Printing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Epson WorkForce Wireless All-in-One Printer. The WF-3720 is definitely a clear update from the WF-2750 I have (and I love it). So it's fast to set up the WF-3720, and it got one firmware update right away. I did set up the LAN from the Printer to connect to WIFI first. I got another firmware update later. After initial setup with a PC (about 20 minutes in total), it's super easy to install the software on a laptop. For Android phone, you can use Epson iPrint to scan the document from Document Table or ADF (right or center aligned) and save it to the phone or to cloud drive such as Dropbox. it is also integration with iPhone or iPad without additional setup. it is also easy to set up cloud print including Google cloud print, and Epson connect print is an extra. The print quality is very good, both color and B&W. Both printing and scanning speed are fast. Disclaimer: This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Great all-in-one Workforce Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been testing the new Epson WorkForce Pro WF 3720 printer. This is one of the best wireless all-in-one printers I have ever used. It has a very easy touch screen great GUI interface copy scan fax ability to read from memory card maintenance setting and settings. It also has the ability to connect to your email server and scan or copy files directly to you email or to somebody else's email. It has WiFi WiFi direct and NFC for easy communication with other devices. It is very easy to check the supply status or to even run a print status sheet or do Maintenance Cleaning. The best thing about the product is it uses less ink than any other printer I have used. It promises to save 30% or less ink than other printers. It also has the ability to print both sides of a page. I feel that this is a great purchase And I have much experience with printers it and computer science. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF - 3720 all in one printer then I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

The best printer I've used...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this printer for about a week now, and I honestly love it. Before I started using this printer I was using a HP printer. Soon as I got this printer, I opened it up, and connected it to my computer. I am currently a student that takes classes online, and I have to print my syllabus out for the week. I was very impressed with the results. The pages came out so clean and clear, without a smear or smudge of ink. Every page came out consistently. This is the fastest printing printer that I have dealt with thus far. It is now my favorite device to print from. I was able to print copies from my phone, and my tablet. Great printer/scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is a lot better than my Canon. The Epson came packaged very well a lot better than the Canon. Maybe a little too much tape and so forth to remove. To setup on the PC I went to the Epson site and downloaded and installed the software. The software included is very good, not much of the advertisement seen with HP. As far as the printing is concerned the quality is very good, and the scanner is very detailed. I had it scan a very old photo and it reproduced it very well on the computer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great color ink all-in-one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a couple years since I've had a color printer at home and have only used a black and white laser printer for a long time. I was used to expecting color printers to be slow and noisy, but this printer was neither of those things. I didn't test the photo quality on glossy paper, but I did test full page color photos on copy paper and even still they turned out nicely and fast. The other feature I most appreciated was that it was wireless. I couldn't decide what room to place it, so ended up moving it twice, and only have to reconnect the power cord and it jumped back on the network. It wirelessly scanned some photos I want to backup on my computer, and that also was very fast. I didn't end up using the copy feature, nor the fax since I have not needed to use any of those features yet. There was not a lot of documentation included with the printer. It was easy to setup and the touch-screen walked you through the steps, but certain features like NFC, WDS and other acronyms I don't know just didn't have any explanation in the small manual it came with. Overall I'm happy with this printer, though I haven't used a color in printer in a whole so I don't know how it compares to the market today. Much better than I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Software install was the first pleasant surprise, as it found and installed the latest version by itself. The next was the ease of printing from any computer on our network to this printer, and being able to scan from the printer to any computer on the network. The scanning and printing speed is much better than any printer I have previously owned, and the print quality is excellent. Ink Guzzler and Can’t Print B&W when color is out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My biggest beef about this printer is that once you run out of ink in any of the single color cartridges, you can no longer print black-and-white until you replace that cartridge. Ridiculous… Next, it is an ink guzzler and the cartridges are really expensive! I tried less expensive cartridges from companies other than Epson and the printer rejected them. If you buy this printer, you are Epson’s hostage. The only reason I gave it more than one star is because it lasted three years and was relatively reliable.

Too Many Problems!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this item based on reviews on this site. Big mistake! It was easy to set up and print quality is fine. However (1) The unit has to be powered off and back on almost every time it is used; otherwise it just gives an error message. (2) It cannot adapt to varying paper types. Using cardstock or photo paper requires a manual setting change. (3) It goes through ink rapidly, and replacement ink is not available at discount retailers like Costco, or 24 hour retailers like WalMart, only at premium price at office supply stores. We will stick with HP next time.

Great except scanning with Mac
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice All-in-one. I've had it for a couple months and have only utilized scanning and printing. Printing and scanning wirelessly works great most of the time. Sometimes it has trouble locating my computer. HOWEVER...if you're a Mac user this Epson WILL NOT scan double sided. I've been on with support multiple times from Epson and Apple and the end result is that the two sided scanning option just isn't compatible with Mac. This is a big let down for me. Now I have to go buy a separate scanner (which won't be an Epson d/t Epson and Apple not being very compatible).

Epson is my goto brand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Epson brand home printers for over 15 years. The quality is great. This WF-3720 is fast and quite, even has a quite mode that slows the print down but not a lot. Printing from my phone or home computer is so easy. Nice to be able to duplex and save paper. High resolution scanner is easy to use. Easy to change between 8.5 x 11 to envelopes.

Laser Quality at Ink Jet price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson Workforce WF-3720, to put it bluntly, is a superb printer. Setup is a breeze. Unpacking the printer takes just a minute or so. Once unpacked and plugged in, powering up and initial language, country and time takes just a few seconds.Installing the 4 print cartridges and loading the paper is quick and easy.software install is quick and painless, not typical or other manufactures. Lastly I was able to instantly connect to my wireless network, to enable cordless printing. I also tried ethernet and usb connections. Each one connected and worked flawlessly. Now on to the main points, speed and quality. I was impressed by the printers ability to print blacks very quickly, colors where a bit slower, but not anything to complain about. I tried a myriad of formats, from written reports, to spreadsheets and graphs. All printed very quickly, with great image quality. One thing I liked was the ability to handle the pages right after printing. This ink dries extremely fast, so no smudging up an important report! In short, this printer acts like a laser printer, yet still uses ink, which does save money in the long run. The great thing is it still retains speed needed for todays bigger print jobs. Excellent print quaility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Print quality is excellent, razor sharp text. I like all of the features of this printer. I had a canon printer and it was very slow and not as many connection options. This printer won't give you photo quality prints, but it does everything else well. I'm glad I went back to Epson.

Ink does not last.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is a great all-in-one. Easy to set up, wifi printing is easy, but that's about it. We hardly use our printer and we've already needed to replace our cartridges a few times. Our black ink is running low, and we bought a refill in the beginning of THIS summer. Oh, and if your cartridge is low on ink, you can forget about printing your document. You can't even print in draft or grayscale. Thinking about selling this one for a laser printer.

Posted .Hi Literallycanteven, we're sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the Epson WF-3720 printer. We appreciate your business and value your feedback. Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work. Even when you are printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged, preventing air bubbles from entering. Air bubbles can damage the print head. If we can help you with anything else, please contact Epson Support at (562)276-4382; Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 8pm PT; Saturday, 7am – 4pm PT.
Sincerely,

Thirsty printer with troublesome scanning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a tricky printer/scanner to manage, between less-than-wonderful driver software and the fact that it drinks ink. When it works, the printer output quality is quite nice. Recent updates to the driver sofware caused image scans to be quite dark, even after tweaking settings - had to scan as PDF and then convert to jpg when neede. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Great Scanning Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a scanner. I really wanted a scanner that would email the scanned documents like the high priced all in one devices at my business. This does a great job. The scanning features are excellent, the quality of scanned pages is great, too. I set this up to send the scanned documents through my gmail free email account. It only took a couple minutes to type in the settings and the unit allows you to easily save your favorite email destinations, while all the outbound scanned documents go through my gmail account regardless of where I send them. Tip: Gmail has a folder for send documents so I get a copy of everything I send, if I send them to someone else. Someday I might actually print a document?

when new it is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i do not own this specific model but a very similar one. BEWARE make sure you print something everyday or the heads dry out and it will be a nightmare to get it going again. i am looking at a total head replacement for $350.00. for that price i will spend another $200 and buy a color laser unit. it did work great when it was new the wireless direct printing is a great idea. you do not need to have access to network to print something off your phone, provided your device supports wifi direct. the last thing is the cost of the cartridges way to expensive complete 4 cartridge basic replacement even at wally world will run you $70.00 OUCH..
