Ok for minimal printing.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the print speed is fast, I repeatedly have an issue with it grabbing multiple sheets at a time. I also have to fight with the paper drawer, it does not slide easily.

poor product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this printer in less than 3 months, everytime I need to print I have to establish connection to our home wifi, worse is that the printing become smudgy after 2 months note that ink I used are Epson brand, I run several print head cleaning, alignment and all printing is bad, I cannot print anything good. I hate that I am stuck with this and have to buy another printer immediately for our home use. I'm done with Epson brand

No ink in the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this printer after returning a bad HP printer. I don't like how bulky it is first of all. I looked past it since it was less than $100 and had good reviews. After I got home from Best Buy, I start setting it up. Then I realize there is NO ink in the box. I really needed to print stuff today so I am beyond disappointed with Best Buy and this product. I thought "Well maybe it doesn't come with ink and I didn't catch that." Nope, the box says it comes with ink, but nothing. Really disappointed.

Yes, I would buy this again! Good little printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second model of the Workforce I have purchased for home use. It does everything I need it to do: Scan & Print. Turn it on every day; even if you don't use it; keeps the ink warm and primed. Yes, I would buy this again.

Ink is difficult to find, print heads dry up/clog
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this deal was too good to be true. I had a problem with my previous Epson printer, the ink head would clog and I would waste a lot of ink unclogging them. But I thought that this problem would have been corrected in new models. Well, it hasn't. They clog and print terrible documents if not used on a daily basis. Also, purchasing the ink (702) has been difficult. I ordered ink from best buy, they said it would be here in a week, then I get a notice that I will have to wait almost an entire month, and then I may or may not get my ink. That is a huge problem for me. I ordered it directly from Epson, so we will see if there is a problem getting it directly. So suffice to say, I do not recommend Epson printers at all.

Ignore the Epson Guy. These printers are junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer a week ago and the Epson guy told us this type of printer has the instant ink load when you print instead of waiting 1 minute for your document to print. This what got me to buy it Well after 1 week of use the wifi direct stopped working. I reset the printer and deleted all the drivers off my laptop (Which literally uses the direct driver) and did not work. I went back to an HP OfficeJet pro and works flawless after a week for the same price. I will not go back to Epson. The quality on HP Printers overpowers any printer out there for inkjet printers. They are just junk printers.

Spend the money for a WF-4730
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While you may think this is a good deal, it lacks several features such as auto duplex. This will print on both sides but it is a PITA and you can't print 2 sided to 2 sided, which for me is a serious issue. Will be getting rid of this and getting a printer that actually does 2 sided to 2 sided.

Monopoly on ink
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had an epson printer for many years because I thought the black ink printing sucks on photos so I ended up buying a new one after having HP for a long time. Had this printer 4 months I ran out of ink after 1 month so I bought 3 of each color and BW for $100 non OEM cartridges. They worked half way through my 1st set. One night the printer asked to do firmware update and now it says cannot recognize ink cartridges. Now I have ink I cant use in this printer and it also has the same quality it for photo on black printing full mat look compared to shiny color even on photo paper so I will throw this printer out an go back to HP printer. I will never buy an Epson printer again and I suggest you dont either unless you want to pay a lot of money for crappy epson ink!!!

Posted .Hi JoeSki, Epson periodically provides firmware updates to address issues of security, performance, minor bug fixes, and to ensure your printer functions as designed. Your WF-3720 was designed to work only with genuine Epson ink cartridges, therefore some updates may affect the functionality of third-party ink. Non-Epson branded or altered Epson cartridges that functioned prior to a firmware update may not continue to function. If we can help with anything else, please reach out to our Epson Support Team at (562)276-4382; Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 8 pm PT; Saturday, 7 am – 4 pm PT.

Do Not Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst printer and scanner, paper tray says out of paper on each print, paper jams every time, pictures cut off at top, needs tutorials for every adjustment. If you think you just need a simple printer to use occasionally for small projects this is not the one.

DO NOT BUT - A PIECE OF JUNK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the WF 3720 on December 23 at Best Buy. After I used it once the ADF broke. I called Epson and they spent an hour and a half trying to fix it, They sent me a refurbished one - This one didn't work at all - another 2 hours and they sent me a brand new one!!!! This one broke after I used it once- wouldn't scan properly - the ADF broke and it wouldn't print properly. Ink was insanely expensive. Am throwing it out. Bought a Brother Multifunction and it was set up in 10 minutes and works perfectly. In summary - after 3 Epson machines in the span of less than 2 months I am done with the company!! I was a loyal Epson customer for well over 5 years. I will never buy another one. The quality of the product went all the way down.

Worst printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this printer a year ago and have had nothing but problems. We don’t print often , maybe once every couple months and no more than 3-10 pages at a time, and yet we’ve had to replace the ink cartridges twice already. This printer also doesn’t print if one cartridge is low. You have to replace that cartridge no matter how much ink is left in the color you are trying to use. But by far the absolute worst thing about this printer is that EVERY SINGLE TIME we try to print, we have to run at least 2-4 print head nozzle cleaning and checks before it will print correctly. This printer is more hassle than it’s worth. Will likely replace and not with an Epson given our experience. I only wish we had printed more in the beginning so we would have seen the issues during the return period.

BEWARE OWNERS OF EPSON'S FIRMWARE UPDATE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own an Epson WF 3720 & are using after market inks, they will sneak in a firmware update which will shut you down & force you to buy their " Genuine " ink cartage for twice the dollar amount which is dirty business. They say it's designed to work only with genuine cartage's. I have been using 3rd parties ink ever since i got the mach with no problems & now it won't work with the new up grade. Guess what Epson, that machine went into the garbage. I'm not buying your ink. I bought another manufacturer instead! Maybe a lawyer should look into the deceitful sneaky practices done by Epson. It's like saying that only genuine Ford parts will only work in Ford & no after markets parts. I will never never again buy another Epson product due to their deceitful practices & evil ways. FOLKS, THEIR MONEY MAKER IS IN INK SALES!

A box of crayons would be more productive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 2 years ago, and I was better off without a printer. It prints, and connects over wifi just fine. The issue is that it will reject perfectly good ink cartridges if you lose power for even a very short amount of time, and cost of replacing is basically the cost of the printer. I am on my third time of "Barely use printer, unplug it or power outage for a short time (hours to days), now all ink must be replaced." They have rigged it so it won't print without color so you have to keep buying it even if you only want to print black and white. And this isn't because you *ran out* of color -- I didn't even USE the color. It sat unplugged for most of the time I have had it because it was such a piece of junk. I tried it again today, and would have had more fun throwing off of a building. I want my 2 years of frustration back.

drops wifi a lot & cannot scan to usb
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got new printer (from competitor big box store) Had lots of issues installing printer to wifi. Finally diagnosed and got it installed after several install and uninstall attempts. (Had to delete printer permissions in computer and start over to solve the issue.) Then status keeps showing printer offline. Reinstalled several times more, restarting both computer and printer after each uninstall. Works intermittently on one computer. Cannot print at all on second computer, even with usb cable. Funny how the printer shows offline on one computer while online on another computer at the same time. Printer cannot scan via usb cable to a computer. I don't have time to mess with this feature. Software issues left and right. I plan to exchange or return this printer.

A Real Problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this printer for 8 months. It would constantly drop WiFi connections that would require a power down and restart. But the real problem is that the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) is built poorly. The mechanisms are flimsy and documents on regular printer paper would get jammed. The final straw was when I was scanning some notarized legal documents and a signature page jammed up. I followed the instructions to carefully remove the stuck page. The page hooked on a molded plastic feature and tore the document at the signature line. A $150 product/printer now caused hundreds of dollars of time and money, as well as delayed the schedule to file the documents. It is supposed to be a tool to help you, not a tool to derail progress and cost money.

Second machine, still not working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a 3720 to replace a previous Epson multi-function unit that was erratic and died a very premature death. The first new unit was dead-on-arrival (Epson tech support could'n't get it working). So they sent me a refurbished replacement, which is hardly fair. But the second machine is so bad I've had to repeatedly call Epson for support with basic functions. My history with Epson goes back to the 1980s and dot matrix printers, but I will never, ever, ever buy another Epson anything. They've over-gimmicked their products so even tech support can't configure or maintain them. Sad end to what was once a reliable supplier.

Terrible Product and Customer Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the product yesterday and had no problem getting it set up and installed - it printed and copied fine (a bit slow on the uptick and noisy), but it would not scan. I've been on the phone with Epson "Support (?)" for over 7 hours today: I've talked to Jessica, Ferdinand, John, Nash, Fred, Stacy and finally Mira (the last two are supposedly "supervisors or tech specialists") with no luck in getting this issue resolved. They blame the router (which was checked out 3 times by Google Fiber and found to be ok and turned off and on 3 times). When that didn't work they say to use a USB connection, but the product is not supplied with a USB cable. After all this time I'm planning to resolve the problem by simply returning the unit to Best Buy and get any printer that is not an Epson!!!!! I have never had such a frustrating experience with a company's "tech support" unit before.

I really wanted to like this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using my Canon printer for over 10 years, I've decided to buy a new printer. A nice gentleman from Epson introduced me with this product. The price was very reasonable so I decided to purchase it. This was in mid-December. From January I needed to use the printer a lot due to tax matter. When you really need to use it, this printer is not cooperative at all. It takes forever to print and it does not scan even though I installed the proper app. It took over 30 minutes to print 25 pages. I thought it was my Wi-Fi connection that was causing the delay. But nope, other wireless devices works perfectly fine. Wastes lots of paper because it decides to quit after printing 3-4 lines. I wish I can return this product. My old printer could do better than this.
