||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this since Feb. 2018, only have printed slightly over 1,200 pages and had to replace the ink several times and after the last firmware update, it won't let me print black and white - when it's out of only 1 color. The marketing on the box said auto prints on two sides, but only via a print command, no duplex copy function. Constantly hassling with it, the software and ink. Got it to replace an old hp printer. Nothing is good about this Epson - getting a new printer for 2019. My wife and I dread any time we have to print something.

Posted .Hi Pomona, Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work. Even when you are printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged, preventing air bubbles from entering. Air bubbles can damage the print head. Also note that your WF-3720 includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty, plus free technical support for the life of your product.
