It was a solid performing up until it was time to change the ink cartridges. I bought genuine Epson ink and it wouldn't recognize the ink cartridge as being Epson. I had to repeatedly remove the ink cartridge and re-insert it. I only replaced the ink three times and each time had trouble. I returned it to Best Buy and exchanged it for an HP 6978. No issues with the HP.

And, who does most of her work off of her phone. Air Drop was an important feature. Although it says you can print from your iphone, you have to install an Espon app to print from your phone. That feels misleading. The wireless set up did not behave as described in the instructions. Overall, the operation of this printer is too technical for non-software/computer user. Hopefully, it will be the work horse it was purchased to be, and the number of 'tech support' calls I get from it's owner will diminish.

A couple of things that stood out immediately: The quality of printer paper matters. The paper kept jamming due to the flimsy feel of the paper so I changed it to a stiffer paper. No more issues -the screen is extremely bright. There may be a way to adjust the brightness but I haven’t played with it enough to know yet

I have talked to Best Buy about it and they say it is an Epson problem. Epson says that it is a Best Buy problem. Bottom line is that it does not work and as I see it is a joke.
