Customers are saying

Many find the setup process quick and simple, and appreciate the printer's compact size and quiet operation. Printer was working fine until EPSON asked me to update my firmware. After the update, the printer stopped recognizing my 3rd party inks which were working perfectly rendering the printer useless. Some people were able to install the old firmware back but Epson has blocked that too as well. Never buying an epson printer again.

Big foot print and heavy. Terrible owner's guide, 325 pages. Price was reasonable.

Everything was fine, I was more than happy with my purchase. We had no issues printing, then out of nowhere I see the printer disconnected from the wifi. But the modem is sitting next to it, I couldn’t get it to reconnect so I rebooted it. Started working and after 3 minutes, it disconnected again. Looked on line, nothing, repeated steps, now it’s taking 30-45 seconds to print 5 lines of text per paper. So glad I bought the warranty. Returned it. Bought a higher model office jet

This is an excellent printer for the price. I don’t print a lot so I have been buying cheap printer but kept having problems. I paid a little more this time I think it was a good choice.

I used the printer somewhat reliably (wifi is unreliable, but not similar to what I've experienced with outher brands) for over a year. Then, they pushed a firmware update that apparently bricks the printer if it doesn't have new, original Epson ink cartridges installed. It's one thing to sell the printer with that requirement clarified before purchase. It's another altogether to do it after the fact to force the user to continue to buy their extremely overpriced and short-lived cartridges. Sneaky, shady and quite unfortunate. Guess my formerly working printer is now e-waste.

Never a top printer, but not priced as such. Has issue with taking multiple pages, and has from te day it came out of the box. No longer recognizes printer cartridges even though a brand new set was put in. Need to replace, which is unfortunate because we never used it heavily.
