    epson support and online accounts are horrendous. I will personally never buy another epson printer again. best buy is the one who recommended this printer as a bundle save with my laptop. It was shipped to the store so I picked it up Feb 6 which is labeled as my purchase date, and it said it was not eligible to return as of Feb 21st. also epson phone support is from 7 to 4 on weekdays when I am at work and do not have my laptop or printer on me.

    This is not like Epson's older printers. The quality has really gone down hill. Last one I will ever own. Major issues include paper jams with error codes, for no reason. And will intermittently lose wifi connection, for no reason. Maybe Brothers will be better, hope springs eternal.

    Flawed Paper Feeding

    I had this printer for less than a year before having to by a new one! IMO the paper feeding is flawed, is has plastic gears that break easily even when the is little paper in the tray. I should have listened to the reviews because some mentioned this issue!

    Worked fine for a while then started pulling multiple pages as a time. Have to feed one sheet at a time. Pretty frustrating only 14 months old.

    It was great when I first purchased (a few weeks). The scanner is malfunctioning. The scanner works when it chooses. My documents are not scanning doubled sided. I plan to return this item.

    everytime I change ink it is a fight to get the printer to accept it. Keeps saying install correctly. it also eats ink like candy. I had just installed yellow, several things were highlighted in yellow and in 30 pages it ran out. I would have gave it a zero.

    It runs very slow. I have to turn it on and off a lot to get it to print. This was the only printer they had in stock in both stores in <odesto. Would not reccomend to anyone.

    Worthless. I have a MacPro and apparently there have been constant problems with downloads for scanning. I’ve spent hours trying to remedy this-now it won’t even print. What’s really maddening is that Epson knows about this issue. One one of the driver downloads, specifically for Mac products, they give the number for someone at the company to ‘help.’ Of course I tried to contact someone at Epson-and never connected with a live person. I’ll be packing this up and returning it.

    Drats! I think I got a Lemon!

    I bought this for my college student. When setting it up, the ink cartridge carrier would never move to the proper position so that I could load the cartridges. Tried turning it off and on multiple times without success. Needless to say, I was frustrated and return it to store for refund. The store gave me a refund without issue. I'm sure this was just a lemon printer. I've not had any issues my prior epson printers.

    Despite connecting to my WiFi through my router and then an LAN cable, this printer refuses to finish the setup process. It printed a sheet that said the network connection is fine but still it keeps telling me the printer is not found. This should not be giving me problems right out of the box. I regret purchasing this.

    This printer is a disaster. Twice the software has updated and both times the printer does not recognize the ink cartridges. Tech support is no help, made multiple calls and there answer is to buy new cartridges. DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!

    It is very high maintenance and the ink does not last, I was hoping that I still had time to exchange it for an HP, but I just found out that I had to return it by 4/20.

    The printer worked fine but beware if you accidentally dropped the printer or God forbid your house catches fire and it melts like minded don’t waste the $40 on the warranty because they won’t replace it

    The printer wouldn't initialize the ink cartridges, and shot ink all over our white wall & ourselves. We exchanged it , and the new unit wouldn't connect to the Wi FI. I contacted Epson , and after spending over an hour on the phone with their high level tech, i gave up.

    Worst printer I've ever set up. Trying to scan to email is impossible for me. Asks for all these different server passwords and adresses. Not like my old hp that was automatic and easy. Kept printing halfway then stopping and when i would cancel it would never stop cancelling until i turned power off. Been a headache so far. Good luck.

    Ink cartridge Scam by Epson

    This printer was working great until I had to do a “firmware” update” - now after months of smooth operation it will no longer recognize any of the ink cartridges that worked fine prior to the update. I contacted Epson support and they are saying it now only works with genuine Epson cartridges.
