It prints quietly and fast. I like it. What I don’t know yet is if it will be a ‘pig’ on ink usage. I am hoping it will be ink-friendly because the cost of new cartridges is expensive.

Some reviews have said that it doesn't print two sided. It does print out two sided documents but does not copy two sided. Very pleased with the WiFi printing. No need to hook up cables. I'm sold on Epson products. I upgraded from a previous Epson printer that reached the end of its serviceable life.

When I went to add to my Mac, it says to download the epson printing app, which is only available on iPad and iPhone. Not compatible with Mac. Printing wasn’t an issue. I was able to print fine but when I wanted to scan to my Mac, said I needed the unavailable app. I did finally get a work around but had to call Epson to get it up and working.

My previous 440 couldn't/didn't scan. I'm not sure if I will be able to get the 3820 to do what I would like it to do. Couldn't get it to go wireless. A number of other reviews agree. Other reviews address ink life. EPSON HAS A RIDICULOUS NUMBER OF MODELS! PERHAPS MAKE BETTER PLUG-N-PLAY VERSIONS FOR FEWER MODELS.
