I've used scan, copy, & print (letters, documents, haven't done photos yet). I don't know about the FAX as I've never used it on any of my printers. The ink actually costs less (probably by half or more) than any of my other printers. I would highly recommend it.

I have two other Epson WorkForce printers and love them both. He seems very pleased with the performance of this printer.
