Good printer for home use.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recent purchase, so have not tried all features. Set up was easy and both windows 10 and 11 computers along with iPhones/pads recognized it without needing any software. Print quality is good and fast although I would like a draft quality option to save ink, perhaps that is in the software I did not install. Have not used scanner yet so can’t rate it.

Excellent printer but expensive ink
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Handles everything you can throw at it! Excellent in home, education, and even enterprise environments. The wide range of connectivity options is unparalleled, and so is the ease of use and intuitive interface. You’re able to get it set up and running within 15 minutes, and you’re guided through every step. The print speed rivals more expensive printers, while the build quality and appearance give it the look and feel of higher-end MFDs. Print quality is what one might expect, and produces high-quality outputs that are good enough for almost everything. The only downside to this printer is that the ink cartridges run out rather quickly, and they’re not cheap to replace by any stretch of the imagination. You have to use genuine OEM Epson cartridges, which are at a much higher price point than generic cartridges.

Very Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with WorkForce Pro WF-3820. By following the directions closely, it was very easy to install. Has worked perfectly since installation about a month ago. Have had very good experiences with Epson printers. This is my third one. Previous workforce printer lasted 9 years without incident. I connect wirelessly and use IMACs.

No Wireless Ability in My Hotel w/assigned IP
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product; prints fast and quiet with good quality. The only problem I have is connecting it to the hotel WiFi. The hotel IT department assigned an ip address to the printer. I worked diligently with Epson, the hotel IT department and Apple (connecting to a MAC laptop). No one was able to get the printer to work wirelessly.

Extremely Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was so easy to set up! The previous printer that I purchased (not an Epson) was an absolute nightmare to connect to my Wi-Fi. (It was even a challenge with MUCH help from my tech savvy adult son.) With this one, I was printing within an hour and that was including unboxing and then installing all the drivers, software, etc to my computer. Since my laptop was already connected to my Wi-Fi, it connected the printer without even having to enter the password. I downloaded the Epson iPrint app to my phone so I can print from that also. The quality and the printing speed have both exceeded my expectations so far. Plus I got a great deal on the printer when purchased in conjunction with a tablet that will be a Christmas gift for a family member. Have not tried the copy or scanning features yet, but so far I am SO HAPPY with this purchase!!

Printer works well!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad helped install the replacement printer from Epson. So far, so good. I like the printing quality, and it is easy to use. The paper tray could be designed better as it is difficult to know it is in place for the letter style paper.

Solid everyday printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased another Epson Workforce Pro as my precious one gave me a solid 12 years use, and was consistently a reliable & dependable basic printer with scanning and fax functions. The new one was extremely easy to set up and connected easily to my wireless network. Black and color printing quality great, features easy to use. Great value, very pleased with this printer!!

Replaced a WF-4820
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer to replace the Epson Workforce WF-4820 that had a bad top document feeder. The 4820 worked great except for the feeder. Since I had the $34 replacement warranty, I figured I'd try the 3820 which just had a smaller screen, spec'd out a little slower than the 4820, and was $30 cheaper. The small screen is fine, and I am noticing no difference in speed, which is very fast compared to my old HP Officejet. Both machines perform well. They have good speed, text and photo printouts are good to excellent, and they are easy to set up and use. I bought the replacement warranty on this one as well since Consumer Reports rates Epsons very low on reliability. Only time will tell if this unit stays healthy, unlike its predecessor.

Perfect for seniors
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy to set up... Bought this for my grandparents who are in their 80s. They need to make quick copies and fax things once in a while. Honestly, we didn’t even need to use the manual yet because we haven’t connected it to a computer which means it’s functioning well with just the printer hardware and a few photos I’ve printed from my phone that were sent via wifi. The ink cartridges seem easy enough to insert and remove... we have yet to find out their lifespan. My only hang-ups are that when you lift up the top to scan or copy, the hinge is small and doesn’t hold up the lid very well. The printing quality is good. I printed a full page photo and framed it. The printer itself is quite loud so be aware of that.
